• No LED – The camera is turned off / not operational. Charging cable The charging cable supplies the camera with power. If it is lost or damaged by your pet, it can be replaced in the PetTec shop. Microphone/speaker The combination of built-in microphone and speaker allows two-way commu- nication. -

Page 8: Placement And Mounting
PLACEMENT AND MOUNTING Place the Pet Cam Buddy on a smooth, clean surface. The Pet Cam Buddy has 4 rubberised feet so that it can be se- curely fastened. Placing it on the floor, e.g. on tiles, parquet or laminate should work well. - Page 9 Manual feeding via app In the detailed view of the Pet Cam Buddy, there is the option to manually dis- pense a certain amount of food. This is a good way to send your pet a greeting from a distance, for example, if it is restless.
- Page 10 KEEP FOOD DRY Which food is suitable? Your Pet Cam Buddy has an 8 litre feed tank for a large amount of dry food. This should be of a firm consistency, not sticky or crumbly and no larger than 15mm in diameter.
- Page 11 USE IN BATTERY-POWERED MODE The standard operating mode is ope- ration with the charging cable plugged in. This is the only way to ensure that all functions are fully available. However, if the power fails or is switched off manually, the device can still be ope- rated for a limited period of time.

- Page 14 TRAINING Step 1: Teaching the dog For optimum success when using the Pet Cam Buddy, it is important that the dog quickly gets used to the device and the food bowl. Use the food bowl and the app functions even when you are at home. Praise your pet lavishly when it comes curiously with the lure signal and eats from the food bowl.
