Once connected, avoid direct contact with the lightning rod while you
wait for execution of a remote test requested from an R-Tester
(this could take some minutes and will be indicated on nimbus ® R by
a flashing LED at the bottom edge of PV-box).

Safety instructions
Wiring and assembly of the nimbus ® R must only be carried out by a
qualified technician. National and local electrical standards, rules
and regulations must be taken into consideration for the correct
installation of the equipment, as specified in the reference
standards NF C 17-102:2011 and UNE-21186:2011. Cirprotec cannot
be held responsible for a poor installation, design or any
subsequent damage. Before proceeding with the installation, check
the external status of the unit ensuring it has not suffered any
damage during transportation or other. The system shall under no
circumstance be installed if there is any evidence of damage or
flaws. One should perform maintenance and verification of ESE as
indicated in the reference standards NF C 17-102:2011 and
UNE-21186:2011 (Specifically, should check the deadlines given in
section 8, table 7 in paragraph 8.2 of that standard).
The use of nimbus R is limited to the scope and conditions
®
described in the pages of this installation guide. Inappropriate
manipulation or modifications of any kind will invalidate the
guarantee under which this electrical apparatus is delivered.

Indicaciones de seguridad
La conexión y el montaje del nimbus ® R sólo debe realizarse por
un técnico especializado. Deben observarse las normativas y
disposiciones de seguridad, así como las prescripciones y las
leyes específicas del país, tal y como se especifica en las normas
de referencia NF C 17-102:2011 y UNE-21186:2011. Cirprotec no
se hace responsable de una mala instalación, diseño o daño
posterior. Antes de iniciar el montaje debe comprobarse que el
aparato no presente daños externos. En caso de observar daños u
otros defectos, no debe efectuarse el montaje. Se deberá realizar
el mantenimiento y verificación del PDC según se indica en las
normas de referencia NF C 17-102:2011 y UNE-21186:2011
(Concretamente se deberán respetar los plazos de verificación
indicados en el apartado 8 la tabla 7 del apartado 8.2 de la citada
norma).
El empleo del nimbus R está limitado a las condiciones

indicadas y mostradas en estas instrucciones de montaje. La
manipulación inadecuada o la modificación del aparato invalidan
el derecho de garantía.
