Features
The relay provides protection against transient overvoltages caused by atmospheric discharges, switch
manoeuvres into the electrical circuits, and electrostatic discharge. It avoids the damages caused by transient
overcharges onto the devices connected to the electrical main voltage in question.
This device DO NOT PROVIDE protection against PERMANENT overvoltages.
Wiring
Operating
In case of transient overvoltage, the device VIGIVOLT V2T will absorb it, avoiding all damages onto the devices
connected to the main voltage.
In the event of the protection becoming inoperating due to an overvoltage, the device will show a red warning
window. In that case, the surge arrester module will be considered as inactive and it must be replaced by another
module (plug-in module: easy to replace).
