Troubleshooting
How recall errors from the error log of the Navigator wired or wireless controller
Error log recall
To enter the error log the controller must be Off.
- Press and release the SETUP button.
- Advance across the screen using the
to the "Advanced" option and press ENTER, the word "USER" will be displayed. - Press the
button to move to "Erro" and press ENTER - At this point certain appliance abbreviations will be seen such as
- Th xx – being the thermostat
- hE xx – being the heater
- EC xx – being the Evaporative air conditioner.
- Press the
button to Select the appliance that is in error (such as the heater which would display, hE xx (xx would represent a 2-digit number)) - Press ENTER, when hE xx is seen.
The bottom set of digits will display log (on the left) and the error code (on the right)
Scroll through the 10-error log using the
buttons.
Pressing the ON/OFF button at any stage of error log recall will cancel this function.

RESET CONTROLS
NAVIGATOR CONTROL
If ERROR OR CO is displayed on the screen press the ENTER button once to clear, then the on/off button to start. Powering off the unit then back on again will also reset.
SLIMLINE CONTROL
If error is displayed on the screen press the up and down buttons together until CLD appears then the on/off button to start. Powering off the unit then back on again will also reset.

How to Pair a wireless Navigator Remote controller to the Transceiver
Pairing the Wireless remote to the appliance must be performed to allow the system to work. Pairing is like the pairing of Bluetooth devices and should be done by the installing contractor.
In the PAir state, the clock digits will indicate PAir and the temperature digits will show the appliance class and the last 2 digits of the serial number. The level bars indicate signal strength.
- Connect the RF Transceiver to the control board.
- Insert batteries into Remote handset.
- Turn power ON to the appliance.
- The transceiver will request to join with the controller for 30 minutes.
The wireless remote controller must be put into a PAir mode to accept the transceiver joining the Navigator system.
- Press and hold the ENTER button on the Navigator Controller for 3 seconds.
- Press the HEAT/COOL, MODE & SETUP buttons in sequence and the display should show "PAir".
- After a few seconds the controller should show "ro xx" (xx will be a 2-digit number).
- Press the ENTER button to pair the transceiver and the remote controller.
- After pressing the ENTER button, press the ON/OFF button.
- After the ON/OFF button has been pressed, wait approximately 5 minutes before you turn on the appliance.
