PANTHER SM IMPORTANT High working speeds affect the uniformity of distribution of seeds and fertilizer. Whenever a change in formulation, lot or manufacturer of seeds and fertilizers, make the measurements of quantities again. THEORICAL CALCULATION – FERTILIZERS DISTRIBUTION In order to a better determination of the fertilizers distribution, proceed as follows: 1-Collect the amount of fertilizers in a row through 10 turns of the drive Wheel, use more than one collection point and take the average to make the weighing easier;...

Page 37
PANTHER SM IMPORTANT For increasing productivity and reducing the loss of agricultural inputs i.e. unevenness in the application along the sown area is important to have the greatest care when performing the adjustments in the Seeder. Make daily measurements with the desired amounts of fertilizer and seeds per hectare because it is in the planting that the production of the new crop to be harvest is defined.
PANTHER SM Hydraulic System PLACEMENT OR REMOVAL OF HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS Place the cylinder (A) (pic. 11), to the support (B), which is attached to the chassis frame through screws (C). After placing the cylinder, insert the pin (D),put the spring rings (E) and assemble the hoses (F).

PANTHER SM HOSESINSTALLATION (DOUBLE WHEELS) Place the hoses in the direction of flow tractor-Seeder(A) (pic. 13), to the upper entry of the larger cylinder(B). Put the hose (C) in the bottom outlet of the larger cylinder (B) and connect the hose to the upper entry of the smaller cylinder (D). Attach the hose in the direction of the Seeder-tractor (E) and in the bottom outlet of the smaller cylinder (D).

PANTHER SM HOSESINSTALLATION (TRIPLE WHEELS) Place the hoses in the direction of flow tractor-Seeder (A) (pic. 14), to the upper entry of the larger cylinder (B). Put the hose (C) in the bottom outlet of the larger cylinder (B) and connect the hose to the upper entry of the smaller cylinder (D).
Page 41
6-Gradually increase the pressure until you get the lift of the Seeder in a normal lift speed (about 120 Kg/cm2); 7-If the problem persists please contact the technical assistance department VENCE TUDO. IMPORTANT IF THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM HAS A VERY HIGH PRESSURE, IT SHOULD BE ADJUSTED.
Page 42
PANTHER SM SAFETY REGULATIONS - TRANSPORT SHIPPING ON A TRUCK OR TRAILER When shipping on a truck or trailer use loading ramps for loading or unloading the Seeder. Do not perform these operations on ravines, it may cause serious accidents. When using pulleys, choose appropriate points for lifting.
PANTHER SM OPERATION IMPORTANT The Seeders SM PANTHER have several adjustments that must be observed considering the local conditions in order to determine the best adjustment. To check and adjust the cutting parts (discs and plows), turn the ratchet off to avoid waste.

PLANTING SET WITH MOVABLE PLOW - SKIP STONE This planting set, which is called “Skip Stone”, was pioneered developed by VENCE TUDO LTDA., in order to meet the need of planting in a soil with many stones. The mechanism is based on a set on which are attached the cutting disc and the plow in the same device.
Page 45
PANTHER SM Depth and Position of Fertilizer Plow – Skip Stone and Cutting Disc Height The position of the plow can be adjusted vertically. In this regard, simply release the plow knife (A) (pic. 16) and change the depth of the groove by changing the position of the screws (B). pic.
Page 46
PANTHER SM Fertilizer Double Discs - Optional It was developed aiming to perform a groove-shaped “V” to place the fertilizer in the bottom of it in light and well-drained soils. It is formed by a set of double mismatched discs 15” and 15” (A) (pic. 18), which are assembled on an interchangeable structure(B) bolted to the plow row (C) (D).
Page 47
PANTHER SM Double Disc Assemblage When using the fertilizer double disc (F) or the second cutting disc, the row must be locked by the pin (E) and the spring (D) should not be pressured. The cutting disc depth is determined by the increasing of spring pressure (A) (pic. 20) displacing with the guide key (B) which is locked by the nuts (C).
Page 48
PANTHER SM Seeds Rows Insulation When planting using spacing where it is necessary the insulation of the intermediary rows (non-used rows), remove the seeds distributor discs and lift the row, proceeding as below: Remove the pressure of the springs (C) (pic. 22) by the lever (A). Remove the springs (C), remove the screw (B) and lift the row, putting on with a wedge (D) (pic.23).
Page 49
PANTHER SM The desired height of the depth limiter wheels should be adjusted in each planting row as follows: 1- Lift the planting rows in order to relieve the weight on the limiter wheels; 2-Release the spring latch (A) (pics. 25/26) and turn the handle (B) to the desired height on the indicator scale (C).
Page 50
PANTHER SM Independent Depth Limiter - Optional The depth limitation is made individually through the depth wheels (A) (pic. 27) that are adjusted with the handle (B), each position allowing the adjustment of 1 to 1cm, as needed. pic. 27 Compacter in “V”- Optional The compacters in “V”...
Page 51
PANTHER SM Compacter in “V” The compacters in “V” (A) (pic. 29), press the soil laterally in the seed and work with various pressure settings, according to soil conditions, crop residues, moisture, etc. Adjust the pressure by pulling the handle (B) changing the position in the regulator (C), adjusting the angle between the rollers, allowing removal or compaction approach in relation to the seed groove.
Page 52
PANTHER SM The marker discs allowadjustments through the screws (D). To adjust the distance from the marker disc, loosen the screws (E) of the arm (F). This type of marker consists of a spring system (G), the pressure adjustment is made by the nut (H), allowing a uniform reading and easy adjustment in different types of soil.
Page 53
PANTHER SM OPTION 2: Making the marking by the front tire of the tractor (on the outside). This option marking should only be used when the spacing require it. Otherwise, always use the option 1. To determine and regulate the length of the row marker arm practically, observe the diagram below: A= DISTANCE BETWEEN THE LAST ROW AND THE MARKER DISC.
IMPORTANT Use only original VENCE TUDO parts. Using improvised parts mischaracterizes the product and hinders the warranty analysis in case of need to use the certificate of warranty. Do not use burned oil or diesel oil for lubricating the Seeder.
Page 55
PANTHER SM - Replace the worn parts that may affect the operation of the equipment; - Put new grease in hubs and inside the cap assembling them again; - Every 200 hours of work, check looseness in the bearings or ball bearings. IMPORTANT During the assemblage, make the necessary adjustments in the roller bearings so that the discs rotate freely.

PANTHER SM FERTILIZER FEEDER–SELF-LUBRICATING FERTISYSTEM MAINTENANCE OR REPLACEMENT OF COVERING AND WASHERS At the end of the harvest, check the covering (A) (pic. 30). If it is excessively worn, replace it after loosening and removing the screws (B). Also check if the felt (C), washer (D) and the cleaning washer (E) are worn.
Page 57
PANTHER SM pic. 31 Note that the adjusting washers (I) must be carefully assembled. They provide smaller or larger space for the pinions adjustment (L and M).If it is necessary to replace the pinions, you must replace the entire assembly: driving pinion (L) and the moved pinion (M).
