BEFORE
YOU BEGIN THE INSTALLATION PROCESS
Check the SN and MAC wired address on the shipping box, and then on the Media Player itself, to confirm that you
have the correct Media Player for the location. All Media Players are configured specifically for each location. If you do
not have the correct Media Player, contact Vibenomics Tech Support at 317.863.2824 I ext 3.
DO NOT INSTALL THE MEDIA PLAYER IF THE SN AND MAC ADDRESS ARE NOT CORRECT.
INSTALLATION
1. lf there is an existing media player:
Begin by taking notes or a reference photo of current media player setup and amplifier volume settings.
Disconnect it from its audio and power connections.
Turn the music volume levels all the way down on the amplifier.
2. Open the box of the new Vibenomics Media Player and identify the kit contents (see above list). Contact
Vibenomics Tech Support at 317.863.2824 I ext 3 if any items are missing.
DO NOT connect to AC power yet. Connect the power cord to the rear of the Media Player only.

4. Install the Media Player in a server room as close as possible to the amplifier, ethernet patch panel, and AC power.
5. There are many mounting options possible with the media player - including rack mounting, wall mounting, and on a
shelf. Please check the project Scope of Work to determine the exact method to use. The chosen one should be
within reach of the amplifier, ethernet patch panel, and AC power.
6. Connect the Media Player to the amplifier or sound system with the headphone/aux port and included audio cable.
7 . Insert one end of the ethernet patch cable into the ethernet port on the Media Player. Insert the other end into a
working patch panel or ethernet port. If the port does not appear to be active, confirm with the location IT team that
the port has access to the internet.
Now plug the power cord into a working AC power source that is always on.
