Zetta Z95 Audio Monitor Quick Start Guide
Overview
Congratulations on your purchase of Zetta Z95 Audio Monitor!
Zetta Z95 is an intelligent audio monitor with low power voice detection function. The audio
monitor comes with a built-in rechargeable battery which can record and upload to server
for up to 20 hours continuously and standby for more than 7 days when voice trigger is
enabled. It can also be powered by a 5V USB source.* 4G data usage is around 8MB per
hour.
* Actual life and performance may vary depending on usage and settings; battery not replaceable
Feature
Circular recording – loop back recording once internal memory is full
Note: Internal memory can store 1-hour audio file. Please insert a 4G SIM card with data
service so that the audio files can be uploaded to the server. The earliest file will be erased
when the memory is full and if it is not sent to the server, it will be lost.
Voice-triggered recording – select to record only when voice is detected, 7 days
standby
Cloud push notification – use the app "Audio Monitor" to get push notification when the
device starts to send files to the server
Real-time remote listening – if a VoLTE-enabled SIM card is used, you can call in to listen
in real-time (enable Call Auto Answer through the Audio Widget on Windows or Mac)
Scheduled recording – automatically wake up to record, 4 timeslots per day, repeat every
day, please initially turn it on first. Green light will be on then off, then it is in standby mode

PC Configuration Tool (Audio Widget)
To synchronize the time and customize settings, download the PC configuration tool (Audio
Widget) from www.zetta.com.hk and follow the instruction in the software guide.
REMARK: If the time shown is year 2020 due to loss of Real Time Clock, please use
the widget to sync the time.

Please use the PC configuration tool "Audio Widget" to change the settings. The widget

1. When LED is set to Off, no LED will be shown when the device is in voice-trigger standby
mode or inactive time slot (if scheduled recording is enabled)
2. Mic gain: 5 is the most sensitive ; 1 is the least sensitive
3. Voice-Trigger Sensitivity: set to Disable if you need continuous recording, otherwise, set
to high / medium / low according to your environment and target voice triggering distance
4. Post-Trigger Record Time: it will record for 20 / 40 / 90 seconds more when there is no
voice triggering
5. Split File Time: create a new file after 1 minute or 2 minute of recording
6. 5V Auto On: the device will be on automatically if 5V USB is connected
7. Call Auto Answer: if a VoLTE-enabled SIM card is inserted, you can call in directly to listen
in real-time. To check if the SIM card is VoLTE-enabled, please do the following
a. Set to Disable in Voice-Trigger Sensitivity
b. Set to Enable in Call Auto Answer
c. Connect the device to a 5V USB source (but not computer) and then turn on the device
d. Make a call to the SIM card phone number
e. If you cannot hear the voice from the device, the SIM card is not VoLTE-enabled
f. If you can hear the voice from the device, keep the call and wait for the device to
record for 1 to 2 minute. If you see green and red light flashing slowly at the same
time, then the SIM card is VoLTE enabled. If you see red light flashing only,
the SIM card is not VoLTE enabled.
g. If the SIM card is not VoLTE enabled, please get a SIM card that is VoLTE enabled
and or enable VoLTE of this SIM from your phone first, please see

Device Registration
1. Connect the device to a computer and use Audio Widget to register the device to the server
2. Input an email address and a password
3. Press Register
4. If you have an account before but forget the password, press Reset Password and a new
password will be emailed to you, please check the junk or spam folder also. If you do not
remember the email address, please contact our technical support, OR you can use a new email
address to register
Charging
To use the device for the first time or not using it for a long time, please fully charge the
battery for at least 4 hours and sync the time by using the Audio Widget (see section "PC
Configuration Tool"). You can charge the device through the USB port of your computer,
powerbank, 5V DC adapter or car charger.
To charge the battery through USB port, connect the USB cable to the USB port of the
computer and the device. For details, please see the status below. The device will function
as a mass storage device, you will not be able to record audio at this moment.
When charging the battery through powerbank, DC adapter or car charger, you will be able
to record audio while charging.
Recording
The Power key is located by the side of the device. It can turn the device on or off.
Start Recording
Press and hold the Power key for approximately 2 seconds until the green LED is on, and
then release the key. When you see the green LED flashing, the device is recording.
Otherwise, please see the status below.
Stop Recording
Press and hold the Power key for approximately 3 seconds until the red LED is flashing, then
release the key. After a while all the light will be off and it is powered off.
If the device hangs, please press the RESET key for 1 second to reset it. The time
will be lost. Please use the Audio Widget to sync the time again.
Status
Without external charger
Green on: device is booting up
Green fast flashing: normal recording
Green and Red slow flashing at the same time: uploading file to server
Green and Red slow flashing alternatively: SIM card error or upload to server fail
Green and Red fast flashing: battery low
All LED off: device is off, or in voice-trigger standby mode, or not in recording time slot
Connecting to an external charger
Green and Red steady on: charging but no recording
Green on: device is booting up
Green and Red fast flashing at the same time: charging and recording
Green and Red slow flashing at the same time: uploading file to server
Red slow flashing: SIM card error or upload to server fail
Green steady on: charging completed but no recording
Green steady on and Red fast flashing: battery fail
All LED off: device is in voice-trigger standby mode, or not in recording time slot

Usage
1. Fully charge the device and insert a 4G SIM card with data service, or a 4G VoLTE-
enabled SIM card with data service if you need to call in for real-time listening, please see
the orientation of the card on the Z95 drawing
2. Download and install the Audio Widget software on Windows or Mac. Please turn off the
anti-virus and firewall for a while before downloading. The file is safe but some anti-virus
programs do not white-list it
3. Sync the time, change the setting and configure the scheduled time slot if needed
4. Register the device to the server. If you have registered your email before, use that email
and the corresponding password. If you forget the password, press Reset Password. If you
did not register your email before, use a new email address and password
Playback file from server
1. After successful registration, use a browser to visit the server shown in the Audio Widget.
Login with the registered email and password. If you forget the password, press "Forgotten
password?" and a new password will be emailed to you. Please check the junk or spam folder
also. If you do not remember the email address, please contact our technical support

2. Press the "Reports" icon and then "Configure" to select your device and the time period,
and press "Show" to list out the file. You can press "Save All" to download all the files. Please
be noted if you have configured to list out a lot of file, the Save All (file download) will take a
long time. To playback a file, click on the "Play" icon. To save a file, click on the "Save" icon
3. Account removal: to remove your account in the server, press Map - setting icon - Account
- Remove icon. Please be noted ALL the devices and files will also be removed from server
