1. Introduction
We congratulate you on your new device purchase. You have thus opted for a high quality product.
These Directions for Use are an integral part of this product. They contain important information for safety,
use and disposal. Prior to the product use, make yourself familiar with all instructions for use and safety.
Use the product only as described and only for the specified fields of use. If you hand on the product to
third parties, also hand over all the product documents.
1.1 Intended Use
This product is only intended for measuring the power consumption and calculating energy costs of a
connected device. Do not use the appliance outdoors. Any other use or modification of the device is
considered improper and involves considerable risk of accidents. We accept no liability for damage
resulting from improper use. The appliance is intended for private use only and not for commercial use.

2. Safety Instructions
WARNING!
Do not connect two or more socket adaptors together.
Only voltage-free when unplugged.
For indoor use only.
3. Starting Up
Connect the unit to an earthed and fused socket. The energy meter now displays the applied
voltage in volts (V).
Connect an electrical appliance and switch it on.
If you now press the MODE button 4 , the power (W) of the connected unit is displayed.
3.1 Set electricity tariff
Press the UP button 2 until the display 1 shows „€ KWh 00,00".
Press and hold the MODE button 4 for approx. 3 seconds (until the numbers flash).
Press the UP button 2 to change the preset electricity tariff.

If you do not want to set a number, press the MODE button 4 to select the next number or to
finish setting a number.
When you have finished setting the electricity tariff € KWH, press the MODE button 4
again, the display changes to voltage „V", i.e. the energy meter starts calculating.
Total kWh: The total electrical power consumed during the measurement period (kilowatt hours)
€:
Shows the complete energy costs of the measurement period.
€ kWh:
Displays the energy costs according to individual electricity tariff specification (number of
programmable electricity tariffs: 1).
NOTE: For electrical appliances that switch themselves on and off (e.g. freezers), wait several
switching periods to obtain meaningful readings.
NOTE: The readings are automatically saved and remain stored even if the energy meter is unplugged
from the mains socket.
NOTE: When you continue the measurement, the new readings are added to the stored ones.
To delete the stored measured values, press the reset button 3 .
In the event of a malfunction, carry out a reset 3 . Stored measured values are deleted. The
stored current tariff is retained.

4. Maintenance and Cleaning

Unplug the appliance when not in use and before any cleaning or in case of malfunction!
Never immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
Make sure that no water or other liquids get into the housing.

Clean the housing with a soft, dry cloth.
5. Disposal
The packaging is made of environmentally friendly materials that you can dispose of at
your local recycling centres.
This product is subject to the European Directive 2012/19/EU. Do not dispose
of the product in household waste, but via municipal collection points for material recy-
cling! Further information on how to dispose of the discarded device can be obtained
from your local authority or city council.
Observe the labelling of the packaging materials when separating waste; these
are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with the following meaning: 1–7:
Plastics/20–22: Paper and cardboard/ 80-98: Composites.
