Using Your Cupcake Accessories
Use the icing bags to pipe frost-
ing onto your cupcakes and for
decorating. Use the following
technique to fill the icing bag.

USING THE DISPOSABLE ICING BAGS

Turn the bag so that the outer edge folds over your hand. Place
desired tip in the bottom of the bag and push firmly into the pointed
end of the bag.
Snip off the excess until the tip is
exposed.
TIP: If icing is too thick, it can be
thinned by mixing in just a little
bit of milk—start with less than a
teaspoon as it thins quickly.
Thinner icing is easier for writing
words and other detail-oriented
decorating.

Fill the bag with icing and push it
down into the bag by squeezing.
