    2 Descrip�on The ICon Pro combines state-of-the-art air purifying technologies in one, easy to set up stand-alone unit. The ICon Pro consists of: Figure 3 Touch screen.     Inside you will see the honeycomb • paper boards protec�ng your ICon Pro. Remove the front honeycomb paper board. You will see your ICon Pro as shown in • Figure 7. Remove the le� and right honeycomb paper boards (Figure 7, pos. 3 and 7).

    6 Opera�on 6.1 Before you start Carefully select the best loca�on for the ICon Pro for the best purifying results. In an environment with heavy polluted air you may consider the use of more than one unit in the same room.
  • Page 17: Eco Mode Func�On

    6.3 ECO mode function ICon Monarch is equipped with ECO mode function. By default, ICon Monarch works on standard, full power mode for neutralization chamber. The ECO mode can be used in spaces where VOC and/or mi- crobiological contamination level is low and user wants to save on energy consumption and extend the lifespan of UV lamps. For example places with high PM contamination level as predominant in indoor air. It is advisable to use ICon at its full decontamination power, however energy saving mode is available and advisable where possible (go to chapter 6.5). Switching ECO mode On or Off is only possible via the smartphone App or via the Icon Portal. 6.4 Control panel – Touch screen The control panel on the front of your ICon Monarch unit, lets you adjust the basic ICon operation functions. By touch screen you will be able to turn your unit On or Off and change the speed of the main fan, to set up proper air flow. All the other icons on the screen are just informative, to use more advanced controls you will have to use the advanced ICon App for smartphones or ICon Web Portal. Please go to App Manual. 6.4.1. Active touch icons – touch screen The control panel consists of three active touch icons and informative icons, with different colours indicating different units sta- tus (Figure 9). ON/OFF switch (Figure 9, pos. 1) Fan speed controls: Fan speed Down (Figure 9, pos. 2) Fan speed Up (Figure 9, pos. 3) of the main fan, to set up proper air flow. All the other icons on the screen are just informative.

    6.4.2. Informative icons on unit touch screen Pos. 4 ICon Air Healer logo, always ON when unit is ON and/or in standby mode. Pos. 5 UV Lamps status indicator: Lits Green when UV lamps are OK and are within a dedicated lifespan time. Lits Orange when UV lamps reached 75% of it’s lifespan, but still are 100% functional. Information for the user – please contact your ICon supplier with this information and order UV lamps’ set. Lits Red, when UV lamps have reached 100% of it’s lifespan, they require immediate replacement, their efficiency is below the optimal.

    6.5 Advanced ICon control functions Your ICon is equipped with advanced control function to let you better use it, according to your person- al needs. All these advanced function are available via the ICon App (iOS and Android versions availa- ble). For App ICon management you will have to connect your ICon to available in your building WiFi network or connect to Internet via Ethernet. In case you don’t have any WiFi network available, or for any reason you can’t connect ICon to WiFi, for example security reasons you may connect your ICon to Internet via LAN connection. For single unit management we have implemented smart functions to let you manage your Icon via Access Point, by connecting ICon to your smartphone. Enterprise users, with more than 10 units, will have a dedicated ICon web portal available to manage all their Icons. Advanced functions available for your ICon: Management via AP (Access Point) Lan or WiFi to use smartphone App or dedicated Web Portal Connecting your ICon to your personal account, for full control Management up to 10 units – via the ICon App or unlimited units via the WebPortal You may assign name and location to each and every ICon you have Change ICon control from Manual to Automatic Full control of current ICon status and it’s components: like HEPA filter and UVC lamp set usage (in % of a life span) You may switch On or Off the ECO function You may lock/unlock the Touch screen, to prevent unauthorised persons to change settings You may set the weekly working schedule for every Icon unit. Weekly schedule is possible different for each day, for working days and weekend and/or the same for all 7 days in a week.   • Page 22: Icon Control Without Wifi Connec�On, Via The Access Point

    6.5.1 ICon control without WiFi connection, via the Access Point In case there is no WiFi network available in your building or for any reason, like security, you are not allowed to connect ICon to WiFi or LAN network, we still provide means to manage your ICon and use its all advanced functions. In such case you will use so called Access Point connection, provided by your ICon. To use that control protocol, follow the guidelines and have your smartphone ready. Connecting via the AP (Access Point) Step 1 To connect via AP, go to your smartphone Settings, then WiFi connection and activate it. Connecting via the AP, step 2 Open available networks and find your ICon. Your ICon will apprear like that: ICON_PRO_2022.01.0001 Specific ID of your ICon you will find on a sticker, applied to your ICON. Connecting via the AP, step 3 Once you have selected your ICon and your smartphone gets connected, you will have to enter the Password ICON126C#30376, also provided on a sticker as in p. 2. Enter supplied Password and connect to AP. Entering the control functions Once your smartphone is connected via the AP with your ICon, you are able to use ICon advanced con- trols. To do that, switch to your web browser, for example Safari. Now in the web address field (Figure … pos.6), enter the following sequence: 192.168.4.1, then select enter. HEPA WiFi Using the On/Off switch turn you ICon On. the image turns green, the same you will see on your ICon touch screen, On/Off control turns green ICon when turned on always starts on fan speed 1 level Your ICon works currently on Manual mode. Changing the Fan speed. HEPA WiFi By using the Up ad Down fan speed controls you may change ICon fan speed. Press Up button once to change the fan speed 1 level up, touch it twice and change the fan speed 2 levels up. Fan speed indication on the touch screen will confirm your selection.
  • Page 25 Locking and unlocking the touchscreen. To lock or unlock (activate or deactivate) the touch screen, use the Touch lock function. When slide bar is Green with “unlocked” message, ICon screen is active and anyone can change the unit settings (On/Off and fan speed controls) via the screen on the unit. When slide bar is Red with “locked” message unit screen is locked, no one can change any settings from touch screen. When touch screen is inactive, the hand and padlock symbol is lit orange, to indicate the touch screen being locked. To activate screen again, you have to change settings in AP mode. HEPA WiFi...
  • Page 26 Activating and deactivating of the ECO mode. ICon system allows you to activate and deactivate ECO mode (see chapter 6.3) When ECO mode slide bar is Green , the ECO mode is activated. When slide bar is Red with Off on it , ECO mode is in Off position and chamber works on full power.
  • Page 27 Changing from Manual to Automatic mode and vice versa. System allows to switch between Manual and Automatic working mode. Use the Operating mode slide bar to change to: Manual Or to Automatic mode Setting the weekly working plan in Automatic mode. Once you have selected the Automatic model select the SETUP and go to Scheduling method.
  • Page 28 Scheduling method. You may set different working plan for each and every day of the week, select “every day of a week” To set different plan for all week days and different for the weekend, select: “weekday/weekend” To set the same working plan for all 7 days of the week, select “whole week” 12. Scheduling unit weekly working plan. No matter what you plan, each day, week days weekends or a whole week, the scheduling method is the same. Column 1 - scroll down to enter each 24 hour of a day. Column 2 - turn the unit Off for the selected hour or turn it On by selecting the desired Fan speed (1-5) Column 3 – here you may activate or deactivate the ECO mode. Just slide it On or Off (left or right) Plan all 24 hours, On/Off , fan speed and ECO On/Off and select SAVE to save weekly or daily plan. Follow the same protocol for all 7 days of the week, SAVE it at the end. You ICon saves the working schedule in the internal memory. Every time you switch into Automatic mode , unit will follow the Saved plan.
  • Page 29 13. Other functions. ICon system counts the working hours to tell you when to replace HEPA filters and UV Lamps. It is im- portant to reset the counter when these consumables are replaced. To do that, enter the Service settings, then Equipment replacement. Enter HEPA RESET, system will ask you for Password. Enter the Password provided in unit Manual and select SEND. Once correct Password is entered, system will reset the HEPA life span counter. After that go to HOME screen ATTENTION UV-1 and UV-2 lamp counter reset is to performed only by an authorised service provider. Do not replace UV lamps yourself and/or by an unauthorised person. ICon system may ask to set up Time&Date, in some cases system will inform the user of Time&Date settings problem by red lighting the Alarm/Error icon. To fix the problem go to Service settings and using the simple tools set Date and Time and Save it at the end. After saving new Date and Time, Error code will disappear. ICon will work according to new settings.
  • Page 30: Hard Reset - How To Reset Unit Se�Ngs Back To Factory Default Se�Ngs

    6.5.2 Hard Reset – how to reset unit settings back to factory default settings ATTENTION When you will want to move your ICon between the buildings, different locations and/or even change the WiFi network you will want your ICon to be connected to, you will have to perform so called Hard Reset – reset current settings, memorized in unit internal memory, back to factory default settings. Here are the steps how to perform the Hard Reset protocol: Figure 12 Figure 13 Before Hard Reset protocol, turn the unit Off with main power switch (Figure 13, pos.2). To preform Hard Reset you will have to remove the PreFilter cover (Figure 12, pos.3). To do that use the hex key (figure 12 pos. 1), supplied with your ICon. You hex key is hidden on the lid of the HEPA filter compartment. Using the hex key, loosen up the four screw on prefilter cover and remove the cover. Important: prefilter cover is connected to ICon body with grounding cable – Do Not disconnect this cable! Now press the Hard Reset switch and hold it. While doing that turn the unit back On with main power switch. Hole Hard Reset switch pressed for apro. 5-10 seconds. You will hear 5 beep sounds. The Touch screen will get alive in blue for a second, and unit will stay On. Hard Reset protocol hase been performed successfully. Now to finish, put the prefilter cover back on the main unit body, using the screws and hex key. ICon is ready to connect to new WiFi network...

    7.3 Recommended addi�onal cleaning Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a dry cloth. Do not use any liquids to clean the ICon Pro. Occasionally clean the air inlets (front and bo�om) with a vacuum cleaner and/or a dus�ng brush.

    7.5 Service interval UV-lamps The ICon Pro is equipped with UV-A and UV-C lamps. The radia�on of these lamps is crucial for proper func�oning of the FS-ACT ® technology. The UV-A and UV-C lamps have a limited life span. ICon Pro so�ware measures the opera�ng �me of each lamp in the neutraliza�on chamber.

    8 Trouble shoo�ng Your ICon Pro is designed to work maintenance free for a long �me. Of course, as in every technical unit, a problem may occur. Here are some hints on how to find a solu�on. If this doesn't solve your problem or if your problem is not listed, contact your nearest ICon Pro service point.
