Hunter 750 Bait Boat
The Hunter 750 is light in weight at just 2.5kg including two lithium polymer batteries. Its compact design is ideally suited for all anglers, although it really comes into its own for anglers fishing short sessions looking to drop a rig and bait in some of those harder-to-reach places, from canals to inland seas. The small size and low weight of the Hunter 750 means that it is not only easy to transport but is equally as simple to deploy, even for those who may want to use a bait boat but decide against it due to having to walk a long way with their gear.
As an industry-first fully top-loading bait boat, there's no longer any need to fiddle around underneath and insert your baited rig into the hopper from below, thanks to the clever design of the bait delivery system which can accommodate up to 1kg of bait. The super-quiet twin motors feature built-in weed guards, whilst the sleek design ensures it cuts through the water with ease. The built-in lights to the front and rear make for an easy approach, delivery and return from your spots at night.
Thanks to a built-in, highly visible battery power meter you'll never be unsure as to how much power you have left. Two lithium polymer batteries are supplied as standard and another industry-first is the ability to charge the bespoke RidgeMonkey batteries via USB-C, which have an average charging time of 2.5hrs per battery from drained to fully charged.
The single-handed IP55 water and dust resistant remote means that you no longer have to worry about leaving your handset out on those wet nights or worry about condensation either. The remote has been ergonomically designed with its rubberised grip and features an easy-to-use thumbstick and 3 buttons, making it extremely simple to use. The remote is charged via USB-C and with an LED power meter and has been tested up to a range of 200m. Supplied with a carry bag.

Hi-Viz
The boat features a new highly-visible (Hi-Viz) styling consisting of the signature RidgeMonkey colour scheme, with dark detailing. This makes it highly effective for locating at a distance, in low-light conditions and against dark backgrounds. As a result, the silhouette of the boat appears lighter when observed from beneath, essentially 'countershading' it, more effectively than darker coloured boats, against the bright sky to help it blend in more discreetly.

Echo Edition
The huge new advantage of the built-in Echo sounder allows the user to physically see exactly what is going on under the surface, making it even easier to find hidden features, map any depth changes, accurately bait a precise spot and even locate the fish themselves. By having this game-changing feature integrated within the boat's hull, the sounder is permanently submerged beneath the surface which ensures the readings are not being affected by waves, chop or wash.
Featuring a standalone rechargeable Echo Sounder Monitor, making it easier than ever to obtain a clear image of what is happening under the water. The simple 4-button design ensures you can navigate the array of customisable options and features with ease, allowing you to set up the system in a way that best suits you and your style of fishing. A handy adjustable bankstick mount connects directly to the handset so you can even set up a hands-free display, allowing you to simply direct the boat itself with the ergonomic single-handed remote whilst easily controlling the line from your reel in the other hand. Both handsets are water and dust resistant, meaning you don't have to worry about condensation or leaving them out on those wet nights. They are also both rechargeable via the same input of USB-C meaning it is very fast and easy to charge these handsets.

BATTERIES

HOW TO ATTACH/REMOVE BATTERIES:
Remove battery cover on the boat and pull out the rubber tab marked "out" on the battery. Insert wired plug in to the battery socket and replace the battery into the boat before replacing the battery cover back on the boat. To remove the batteries, ensure the power to the boat is turned off and remove the battery cover on the boat. Lift out the battery using the thumb tab to the top of the battery and carefully remove the plug from the socket on the battery.

HOW TO CHARGE BAIT BOAT BATTERIES:
Remove the rubber socket cover on the battery marked Type-C in/out and insert USB-C cable in the port using the Power Delivery charger supplied. Switch on mains power supply. While charging, the LED will flash red. Once fully charged the LED will remain lit solid green.

Recharge the batteries using the USB-C Power Delivery port only. DO NOT attempt to recharge the batteries via the orange XT60 output port. Risk of fire or explosion.

REMOTE

HOW TO CHARGE REMOTE HANDSET:
Remove the rubber socket cover on the left side of the remote handset and insert USB-C cable in the port, using the Power Delivery Mains Adaptor and cable supplied. Switch on mains power supply. While charging, one or more of the power display LEDs will flash. The remote handset is fully charged when all four power display LEDs are constantly illuminated.

HOW TO TURN ON/OFF REMOTE:
Hold down the power (right) button on the handset for 3 seconds. The blue power meter LED's on the remote will light up in sequence until fully powered on and the lights will be solid blue in colour.
To turn off the remote hold down the power (right) button for 3 seconds. The blue power meter lights on the remote will turn off in sequence until all power meter LED's are off. The remote is now powered off.

HOW TO PAIR REMOTE HANDSET TO BOAT:
Turn remote handset on following previous instructions. Long press the light (left) button on the remote until remote power battery lights flash from left to right. Turn the boat power on and wait for the lights to stop flashing.
The boat is now paired to the remote handset.

OPERATION

HOW TO TURN ON/OFF BOAT:
Press down the silver power button to the rear left of the boat, the lights will flash and then go off, the power meter will display the current boat power in the batteries, the boat is now turned on.
To power off the boat, simply press the silver power button on the boat again and the boat will now power off.

HOW TO READ THE BOAT POWER METER:
When the boat is fully charged the power meter should read between 12.4V and 12.7V when it drops down to around 9V the batteries are fully run down.
The boat is equipped with a built-in cut-off, so if the boat goes below the required voltage, it will shut off to ensure no damage can be done to the batteries due to full battery drain.
When there is 9.7V battery the boat lights will flash 3 times every 30 seconds until the batteries fully run down after around 10 minutes.

HOW TO OPEN/CLOSE THE HOPPER:
To open the hopper, simply press the middle button on the remote.
The hopper will open and both the front and rear lights will flash twice.
Before filling with bait ensure the hopper is fully closed. To do this, simply lift the hopper flap up toward the hull of the boat and while still pushing it upward, press the middle button of the remote once.
The hopper flap will lift into position and now be closed and secure in place.

HOW TO LOAD THE BOAT WITH BAIT AND LINE:
With the hopper closed place your desired bait in the top of the boat hopper. Lift the rear line securing arm (see diagram) and once your rig is placed in the hopper, place your main line/leader through the rear groove and secure in place by locking the line securing arm back in place.
This ensures that your main line/leader will not move from position if it comes under tension while driving the boat in to position.

HOW TO STEER:
Using the thumbstick controller on the remote handset push the thumbstick forward to move forward, backward to reverse, left to turn left and right to turn toward the right.

AUTO-DRIVE:
Hold the thumbstick in the forwards position for 5 seconds to enable auto-drive. Steer with left and right inputs. To cancel auto-drive, pull back on the thumbstick.

HOW TO TURN LIGHTS ON/OFF:
Single press the lights button (see diagram) to turn on the front and rear lights to the boat. To turn off the lights simply press the lights button once and the boat lights will now be turned off.

TO CHARGE:
Connect the USB-C port to a 5V power supply, once lightning bolt shows green it is fully charged

GENERAL:
Power button = on/off
Menu = access the menu options
D-pad = scroll up/down/left/right
ENT = enter, zoom the sonar display ESC = exit settings

TO POWER ON/OFF:
Hold the power button

MENU NAVIGATION:
Tap the menu button to scroll through the main categories
(sonar - setup - advanced)
Use the D-pad to navigate
Press ENT to confirm any changes
Press ESC to exit

SONAR:
Sensitivity:
How many returning echoes ('underwater noise') are displayed on the screen. Adjust to your preference.
Depth range/upper limit/lower limit:
Adjust the range displayed on Y scale of the graph (depth) from the top (upper limit) to the bottom (lower limit). Adjust to your preference.
Fish symbols/depth:
Turn on/off the symbols (and depth) that display echo signals that suggest the presence of fish. Adjust to your preference.
Depth cursor:
Turn on/off a horizontal line with a digital display depicting the cursor depth. Adjust to your preference
Simulator:
Turn on/off a simulated animation using the current display settings.

SET UP:
Backlight:
Increase or decrease the screen brightness. Adjust to your preference.
Volume:
Increase or decrease the speaker volume. Adjust to your preference.
Units:
Change the units of measurement for the depth and temperature. Adjust to your preference
Chart speed:
Speed up or slow down how fast the chart updates and displays the echo signal. Adjust to your preference.
Fish alarm:
Turn on/off the alarm (and adjust the size of the object detected) to alert the presence of potential fish. Adjust to your preference.
Depth alarm:
Turn on/off the alarm (and adjust the minimum depth) to alert the detection of the minimum depth being reached. Adjust to your preference.
Battery alarm:
Turn on/off the alarm (and adjust the minimum battery voltage) to alert the detection of a low battery voltage. Adjust to your preference.
Transparency:
Increase or decrease the transparency of the menu box. Adjust to your preference.

ADVANCED:
Keel offset:
NOT REQUIRED. Offsets the digital depth readout by a set distance from the water line.
Note: this setting is not required as the Hunter 750 Echo Edition's transducer is fixed.
Sonar chart mode:
Change from a 'White Background', 'Blue Background' or 'Greyscale' colour setting. Adjust to your preference.
Surface clarity:
Turn on/off the filter (and adjust the sensitivity) which reduces the effects of interference from surface clutter noise. Adjust to your preference.
Noise rejection:
Turn on/off the filter (and adjust the sensitivity) which reduces the effects of interference from nearby sources of noise. Adjust to your preference.
Language:
Change the display language for the menu. Adjust to your preference.

TIPS:
In shallow water below 5ft - adjust the sensitivity to 70% and the depth range to 0-3 metres (0-9 feet) or set to automatic when working in shallow water areas.
Depending on the chosen settings, the density of the signal returned to the transducer is depicted by the shade or colour of the graph. The darker the shade of grey (or more yellow/orange) the denser/harder the reflected object is. The lighter the shade of grey (or more blue/red) the less dense/softer the reflected object is. This reading is useful when observing the undulating contours of the chart to better understand the underwater terrain.
The battery life of the monitor depends on the chosen settings. Adjusting settings such as the reducing the brightness of the 'Backlight' can enhance your battery life.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORAGE

Wipe with a soft, damp cloth and ensure product is fully dry before storage. Store in a cool, dry place with batteries disconnected and any cables loosely coiled. Run a full battery charge/discharge cycle at least once every three months to avoid shortening the lifespan of the batteries. If long-term storage is likely to occur between uses, we recommend storing at approximately 50% of full charge. Never store the batteries for long periods when empty as this may cause irreversible damage – always apply a small top up charge as soon as possible.

USAGE NOTES

• Do not use the Hunter 750 in saltwater. Refrain from using the Hunter 750 Bait Boat in rough, choppy conditions or at ranges in excess of 200m to avoid the risk of total loss.
• When disconnecting the batteries or charger, pull the reinforced plug assembly. Do not pull directly on the flexible cable.
• Do not attempt to recharge the boat or remote batteries in temperatures above 35C/95f or below 5C/41f. Doing so will void your warranty and may cause permanent damage to this internal lithium cells of the device.
• Always ensure both batteries are at the same state of charge. Avoid mixing charged and discharged batteries. If necessary and relevant to the previous note, the Hunter 750 can be used with a single battery connected to the power circuit. However, always have both batteries in place to provide equal ballast and fully recharge both batteries as soon as possible to restore voltage balance.
• Use this product and any included accessories for its intended purpose only.
• Do not open the sealed hull of the boat, nor modify this product or any included accessories in any way. Doing so will void your guarantee.

HIGH VOLTAGE – RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK

• Recharge the Hunter 750 batteries using the USB-C Power Delivery port and an appropriate USB-C power adaptor only.
• DO NOT attempt to recharge the batteries via the orange XT60 output port.
• Do not continue to use this product if any part of it becomes damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
• In the event of fire: where possible, safely isolate the power supply and seek immediate assistance from the relevant emergency services.
• In the event of electric shock: safely isolate the mains power supply and seek immediate medical attention.
