SIMBODIES manikin is a precise replica of human anatomy both inside and out. This user guide will explain how to properly take care of your SIMBODIES manikin and products, apply and remove moulage and makeup, connect the blood pump, and customize applications.
GENERAL CARE AND MAINTENANCE All of our SIMBODIES manikins and products are unique and hand produced. Pat dry your SIMBODIES manikin or product before storing. Once your manikin is dry, use your setting powder located in the SIMBODIES Maintenance Kit to lightly brush the powder of the skin to return it back to its natural look and feel.

STORAGE Store your SIMBODIES manikin lying flat on its back in the body bags or body cases until ready for use. Store in a cool dry room with an average temperature range of 50°F to 77°F. Do not place wet or damp body parts in a sealed body bag or box and allow to dry before storing.
DOS AND DON’TS Make sure your SIMBODIES manikin stays in excellent shape. Do handle your SIMBODIES manikin like a real patient and take care when performing specific medical procedures. Do keep your SIMBODIES manikins and products well maintained, clean, and dry.

Don’t cut or use a bladed instrument on your SIMBODIES manikin. Don’t draw or write on SIMBODIES manikins and products’ skins using pen or permanent markers such as Sharpies. Don’t manipulate the limbs into stress positions, pull the arms above the shoulders, or drag the manikins by their arms or legs.

CONNECTING YOUR TABLE-TOP WOUND PACKING TRAINERS Choose required connector (I or T) included in your kit. Your Wound Packing Trainer (or similar) will have two bleeding tubes: RED & BLUE. RED will bleed the large wound BLUE will bleed the smaller wounds Attach your connector to preferred bleeding point.

SERVICE AND SUPPORT In addition to our standard 1-year warranty, SIMBODIES offers two restoration program options to ensure the longevity of your manikins. 12-STEP RESTORATION PROGRAM SINGLE YEAR (1) Customer will be entitled to 1 EMS-MAN restoration within 12 months of receipt of their manikin.
We manufacture all of our products to meet our superior standards. However, regardless of how carefully you care for your SIMBODIES product, it will eventually begin to show age and wear. A non-limiting example of such wear may occur after repeated needle insertion for needle decompression or IO insertion.
