Portable foot relieve pads
Perfect for massaging your feet when you are travelling. Together with the operating console you will have the possibility of an effective, pain relieving and relaxing treatment no matter where you are.

Re-usable electrode body pads
The body pads, which are available in various sizes, provide effective treatment for specific areas of the body.


DR-HO'S Circulation Promoter is a medical device class IIA so please read all guidelines carefully and keep it for future reference.
This Pain Therapy device, model CP-1, is intended for the relief of pain associated with sore or aching muscles in the following anatomical locations: the lower back, shoulders, arms, legs and feet due to strain from exercise or activities of daily living principally regular household and work activities.

Circulation Promoter foot base
If you feel numbness, little or no foot stimulation when you start using the device you could increase the intensity until you are happy with the degree of stimulation or you could extend the treatment by activating again a program.
Never stand on the foot base but use it when sitting upright and in a comfortable position.

Electrode pads

  • Remove the transparent film from the electrode pads before use. After each session, stick the protective film to the self-adhesive pads again.
  • If the electrode pads feel dry or irritating, spray them with a small amount of water, wait 30 seconds and reattach the pads to your body.
  • For optimal results replace the electrode pads after 30 to 50 sessions.
  • Electrode pads are intended for personal use and should not be used by others.

Usage

  1. Insert 2 AAA batteries. It is best to use alkaline batteries.
  2. Foot base
    1. Insert one plug of the cord into the Pain Therapy device.
    2. Insert the other plug into the foot base.
    3. Dry pads will not work. Before treatment, spray the surface of both foot pads and the soles of your feet with water using the handy spray bottle supplied.
    4. Sit comfortably on a chair or sofa and then place both your bare feet on the foot pads.

Comment: You will only feel stimulation when both feet are on the foot pads.

Body pads

  1. Please refer to the overview for instructions on how to position the large and small format pads, depending on the area to be treated.
  2. Insert the plug from the set of electrode pads (large and small format) into the Pain Therapy Device.
  3. Remove the transparent protective film from both electrode pads to expose the self-adhesive gel layer.
  4. Spray the electrode pads with a little water or contact gel before use, using the handy spray bottle supplied.
  5. Attach the pads to the area of the body that you wish to treat. Make sure the pads do not touch each other.
  6. After using the electrode pads, stick the transparent film onto the self-adhesive gel layer again.

Comment: The system ONLY works if you attach both electrodes from the same set to your body.

Portable foot pads

  1. Each of the right-angle plugs are attached to a foot pad when they are delivered. Insert the round plug into the Pain Therapy Device.
  2. Place the portable foot relieve pads next to each other on a solid or hard floor the same distance apart as your hips. They should not touch each other.
  3. Spray both foot pads and the soles of your feet with water to ensure good conduction, using the handy spray bottle supplied.
  4. Make sure you are sitting comfortably and place each of your feet on a foot pad.

COMMENTS:

  • Do not use the portable foot relieve pads as body pads but only for your feet.
  • These portable foot pads are NOT insoles and are not for orthopedic use. You should therefore not insert the pads into your shoes.
  • For optimal results, place the portable foot pads on a hard surface. Do not use them on deep pile rugs and carpets.

  • Do NOT use the large and small format body pads as portable foot relieve pads.
  • You can use the foot pads and the body pads in combination with ALL types of DR-HO'S pain alleviation devices provided you have a Pain Therapy Device.
  • Use the portable foot pads and the foot base in bare feet. Do NOT wear tights, stockings, socks or shoes during use.
  • In order to work, you need to place each of your feet on a portable foot pad or on both pads of the foot base.
  1. Turn the switch to 'ON'. Then increase the intensity slowly until your muscles start moving of their own accord.
  2. Press the 'Mode' button to choose different functions.
  3. Press the 'Time' button to choose the treatment time. To continue the treatment after one session has ended, first turn the device off and then back on again.
