TOSHIBA Audio Application is designated for transferring audio data (MP3, WMA or WAV
files) to the gigabeat. Audio data will be encrypted and recorded in the gigabeat. You can also
edit playlists using TOSHIBA Audio Application. For the operating procedures of TOSHIBA

MP3 (MPEG-1 Audio Layer 3)
An international standard established by MPEG, a working group under the International
Standardization Organization (ISO). This standard permits files to be compressed at a
scale of 1/10 to 1/12.
WMA (Windows Media Audio)
This designates the audio-compression coding method developed by Microsoft Corporation
or audio files compressed according to this standard.

A standard audio file format used in Windows platforms
