2 Installation and Registration
2.1 Installation
Twist the antenna onto the interface of the WIFI Dongle. Connect WIFI Dongle to RS485 port of battery with communication
cable, RJ45 terminalx2, standard pin sequence.
Battery with WiFi interfaces can be connected with the optional communication cable (RJ45-4P Aviation Female), as shown in
Table 3
Inverters i.e. DEYE, SRNE, GROWATT, Voltronic, Magarevo will not be able to communicate with battery when WIFI Dongle is
connected to battery due to occupation of the RS485 port.（Dips of these brands can't be used）
WIFI Dongle will be powered by battery through RS485 port of E-Box 48100R D which is released from Dec. 2023. An external
power source is required to power the WIFI dongle through Type C port of the WIFI Dongle when working with an earlier
E-Box 48100R version. Please contact Pytes if you are unsure of your battery version before purchase WD02.
