    General information Reading and retaining the instruction manual This instruction manual is part of the bed rail. It contains important information on initial set-up and handling. Read the instructions carefully, especially the safety instructions, before using the bed rail. Failure to follow these instructions may lead to serious injuries or to damage to the product.

    Only use the bed rail if the child can climb into and out of bed without assistance. • The bed rail must not be used as a substitute for a cot, as it does not offer the same level of safety.
  • Page 19 • Do not use the bed rail for cradles or for sleeping surfaces more than 60 cm above the floor. • To prevent the risk of strangulation, there should be at least 25 cm between the ends of the bed rail and the ends of the head/footboard of the bed.

    • Be aware that the assembly kit may contain small parts that can be swallowed by children, posing a choking hazard.
