Il sensore utilizzato per rilevare il gas è un sensore Pellistor a combustione catalitica, tarato per gas Metano. Il circuito di analisi gas in camera di combustione dell'AN400/I è costituito da un filtro anticondensa a coalescenza, una pompa di aspirazione, una valvola a tre vie, un flussometro , un filtro di protezione e il sensore Pellistor per gas esplosivi. -

Sull'AN400/I, sono previste due uscite a relè, una con contatti in scambio liberi da tensione corrispondente al preallarme (AL1) regolato ad una concentrazione del 10% LIE Metano e l’altra con contatto normalmente eccitato con contatti liberi da tensione per il blocco del bruciatore (AL3) quando la concentrazione supera il 30% LIE Metano, oppure se si guasta il sensore. -

6x8mm preferibilmente in acciaio inox oppure in PTFE. La distanza tra l'unità AN400/I e il punto di prelievo non dovrebbe superare i 10 metri. In camera di combustione va installato un raccordo per tubo Ø esterno 8 mm. -

0,3 l/m. Preriscaldo: quando l’AN400/I viene accceso, inizia anche la fase di preriscaldo del sensore di circa 60 secondi, dopo questo tempo il sensore è in grado di rilevare il gas, ma raggiunge le condizioni di stabilità... -

(vedi a Pag. 1 Caratteristiche Tecniche). Eseguite le verifiche spegnere e riaccendere l’AN400/I. Se la condizione persiste sarà necessario provvedere alla riparazione. Se i Led Giallo e Verde sono accesi (uscita 0mA): indica probabilmente il guasto della “Cartuccia Sensore”. -

Page 15: Description
Pellistor sensor for explosive gas. The AN400/I unit cleans the gas sensor with clean air every time the burner starts up (at the end of each analysis cycle). The cleaning process takes about 3-4 minutes and is controlled by a Timer. -
Page 16: Operating Principle
The sensor is enabled only when the burner is turned off and can potentially leak non-combusted gases. The AN400/I has two relay outputs. There is one pre-alarm (AL1) dry contact output configured at a concentration of 10% of the LEL of Methane and a normally energised dry contact output that disables the burner (AL3) when the concentration exceeds 30% of the LEL of Methane or when there is a fault with the sensor. -
Page 17: Installation
Install a pipe fitting (with an external diameter of 8 mm) in the combustion chamber. You are advised to assemble the pipe at a slight downwards angle from the AN400/I unit so that any condensate can flow back towards the combustion chamber. -
Page 18: Using The Unit
If necessary, set the flowmeter at about 0.3 l/m. Pre-heating: when you power the AN400/I unit, the sensor takes about 60 seconds to warm up; it is then ready to detect gas but requires 4 hours’ continuous operation to reach optimum conditions of stability. -

Check that the cartridge is connected properly and compatible (refer to Page 1 Technical Characteristics). When you have done, turn the AN400/I unit off and then on again. If the problem persists, the unit may need to be repaired. -
