P EUG EOT TRAVELLER T URIN WHEELCHAIR RESTRAINTS 1. Slot the removable Q-Straint/Unwin retractable system into the floor anchor until it is securely in place. (See figure 1) 2. Push down the coloured lever, this will allow for the extendable belt to be released. (See figure 2) 3.
P EU GEOT T R AV EL LE R TU R IN | SECURING THE WHEELCHAIR 1. Position the wheelchair at the foot of the ramp and CONNECT AND ADJUST apply the brakes. THE REAR RESTRAINTS 2. Switch on the electric reels by pressing the button by the rear tailgate.
PE U G E OT TRAV E LL E R T URI N ALIGHTING THE VEHICLE 1. Switch on the electric reels. 2. Remove the rear restraints. 3. Move the wheelchair forwards slightly (e.g 2-3”, 5-7cm). This will release the safety latches. Guide the wheelchair carefully down the ramp.
P E U GEOT T R AV E LL E R T UR I N | WHEELCHAIR OCCUPANT BELT 1. Extend, adjust and secure the wheelchair occupants belt taking care that the shoulder belt fits correctly over the shoulder. 2. Ensure the lap belt is positioned across pelvis and not over the wheelchair frame.
PEUG EOT TRAVELLE R T URIN TYRE INFLATOR Your Peugeot comes with a tyre inflator which you will find under the front seat. P E U G EOT TR AVELLER T UR I N | OPTIONAL WINCH 1. Remove rear wheelchair restraints 2. Switch on electric reels 3. Moving the wheelchair forward slightly (2-3”, 5-7cm) will release the reel safety lock 4. Guide the wheelchair down the ramp keeping the winch strap in tension.
