Surestat DT10 Quick Setup Guide
Setup Process
The main screen displays the current temperature at the top and the setpoint temperature for the thermostat
on the bottom. To enter setup mode, hold the SET button down until the screen changes to the setup screen
shown above. TS (shown) is the first parameter in the setup mode and is your temperature setpoint. This is
the temperature that devices will turn OFF at. You can change it by pressing the UP and DOWN arrows or
switch to the next parameter with a quick press of the SET button.
Switching to Fahrenheit
If your control is defaulting to Celsius, you can change it by going into setup mode and pressing the SET button
until the parameter displays CF. Then press UP or DOWN to change. When done changing settings, press and
hold the SET button until the screen changes back to the main screen.
Setting your Differential
The differential is what determines how many degrees above or below the setpoint the thermostat will cut
your device ON. For cooling (fans), go to the HD parameter in setup mode and set the number of degrees you
want the cooling device to come ON above the setpoint. We recommend a minimum of 4 for a fan system.
