    Congratulations! You’ve purchased an appliance from North America’s oldest manufacturer of wood burning products. Wood is our only Renewable Energy Resource. The instructions pertaining to the installation of your wood burning appliance comply with NFPA 211.

    Dimensions 26.00 26.5 24.5 28.5 24.00 28.00 Clearance To Combustibles INSTALLATION CLEARANCES The clearances given are minimum dimensions by the NFPA. Installation of this appliance must comply with the latest edition of NFPA 211 and / or your local building code rulings. Use whichever is largest. Your appliance must be installed in residential applications in accordance with the clearances provided.

    Ventilation FLOOR PROTECTION This appliance must only be installed on the required masonry block and or paver kit. CHIMNEY CONNECTOR Your chimney connector and chimney must have the same diameter as the appliance outlet (10”). If this is not the case, we recommend you contact your dealer in order to insure there will be no problem with the draft.

    TESTING YOUR WOOD When the appliance is thoroughly warmed, place one piece of split wood (about five inches in diameter) perpendicular to the door on the bed of red embers. If ignition of the piece is accomplished within 90 seconds from the time if was placed in the appliance, your wood is correctly dried.

    Maintenance And Safety FUEL STORAGE Wood can be dried sufficiently for burning within a few weeks if protected form rain in a low humidity area. It is far better to cut wood and allow it to dry for a year. In all cases, the wood should be stacked so that both ends of the sticks are exposed to the air and protected from rain.

    Trouble Shooting Guide When your appliance acts out of the ordinary, the first reaction is to call for help. This guide may save time and money by enabling you to solve simple problems yourself. Problems encountered are often the result of only five factors.
