Be careful when cutting steel banding material as items may become loose and fall causing personal harm or injury. Prior to removing the pallets make sure the posts are held securely by a fork lift or some other heavy lifting device.     SECTION 7 CONTROL PANELS The PCL-18B includes one Master Column (Column A) and Slave Columns (Columns B, C and D). Each Column has a control panel that can operate in SINGLE Mode, the main Column and the one directly across from it in PAIR Mode or all 4 Columns at once in TEAM Mode.

Rabbit mode (See Fig. 8.3) allows for a quicker descent while Turtle mode (See Fig 8.4) allows for a slower, more precise descent.

    Safe Lift Operation Automotive and truck lifts are critical to the operation and profitability of your business. The safe use of this and other lifts in your shop is critical in preventing employee injuries and damage to customer’s vehicles. Safe operation of automotive lifts requires that only trained employees should be allowed to use the lift.

    Crossbeam Accessory The PCL-18B has a Crossbeam available as an accessory. The Crossbeam goes between two PCL-18Bs, sitting in their troughs. The Crossbeam comes with adapters: two cradle adapters (which fit onto the Crossbeam), two short cradle lift adapters, and two tall cradle lift adapters. The Crossbeam also comes with a caster kit, which allows the Crossbeam to be easily moved around.
