The X3-21 Pro shroud is a matte black covering designed to slip over the cylinder, pressure reducer and backframe assembly to
obscure potentially reflective features of the Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) during stealth operations.
Assembly Procedure
The following steps demonstrate how to use the X3-21 Pro Shroud.
1.
Lay the shroud on a clean surface with the inside facing up. Open the hook and loop fasteners, slide the straps out of the
adjustment rings and unsnap the lower attachment snap strap as shown in Figures 1 and 2.
2.
Set the SCBA on its backframe with the base of the SCBA and pressure reducer toward you. Lay the shroud, inside facing up
with the lower attachment snap strap next to the reducer of the SCBA.
3.
Thread the attachment snap strap under the waist pad strap that connects it to the base of the backframe and snap as shown in
Figures 3 and 4.
