Page 7: Before First Use
Before First Use Attach the bases to the bottom of each lightbar, ensuring they are securely in place. Connect the power adapter to the mating connector on the lightbar controller. Connect the other end of the power adapter to an electrical outlet and turn it on. Place the lightbars in the desired location. -

CONNECT TO SMARTERHOME Install App Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Play Store (Android) App Store (iOS) To register: If you already have a SmarterHome account, select ‘Log In’. To register a new account, select ‘Sign Up’. - Page 9 Set device in pairing mode When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode (lightbars are rapidly flashing red). If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in pairing mode by pressing and holding the power button for 6 seconds until the lightbars are rapidly flashing red.
- Page 10 Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the light flashing, and tap “Confirm light is rapidly flashing”. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure your Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close until connection is complete.

Troubleshooting I cannot add the product to the SmarterHome App • Ensure you are using a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This device only works with the 2.4GHz network and is not compatible with the 5GHz network.
