    The product has a high voltage section, which may cause accidents or injuries due to electric shock, fire, or abnormal operation. In the case of malfunction, please contact BALMUDA Support (P.48). Do not insert wires or any kind of metallic objects, foreign objects, or your fingers into the air vent, gaps in the product, or the bottom of the product.
  • Page 3 If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent (BALMUDA Support P.48) or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Failing to do so may cause burns and other injuries, electric shock, fire, or malfunctions.

  • Page 5 When disconnecting the power plug, do not hold the power cord to pull out the plug. Doing so may cause fi re or electric shock due to damage. Do not use a metal rod or any hard objects to clean the product. Doing so may cause fi re or electric shock due to damage.
  • Page 6 If the main unit is placed on a surface with insufficient strength or a tilted place, the unit may fall over or drop, causing injuries or malfunctions. If the main unit falls over or is dropped, stop use of the product and contact BALMUDA Support (P.48).
  • Page 7 Be careful about the main unit so that it does not fall over or drop due to an earthquake, etc. Failing to do so may cause injuries or malfunctions. It is recommended to fix the main unit with anti-tip anchors for microwave ovens. Place the product at least 4 m away from a television, radio, or wireless device.
  • Page 8 Stop using the product immediately if an abnormality or malfunction in the main unit is suspected. Failing to do so may cause fire, injuries, or electric shock. Please contact BALMUDA Support (P.48). Be sure to remove any freshness preserver (oxygen absorber) and seasoning packet included with food before heating the food.
  • Page 9 Microwave oven heating WARNING Do not overheat food. Doing so may cause smoke or fire. Follow the guide for the warming time and wattage if indicated for the food. When heating small amounts of food (less than 100 g) or low-moisture food (bread, potatoes, deep-fried bean curd, tenkasu, deep-fried food, etc.), set the oven to 500 W or less and set the cooking time between 20 and 50 seconds in the manual mode.
  • Page 10 CAUTION Do not operate the product with an empty oven. Sparks may occur and the temperature may be increased abnormally, causing burns and other injuries or malfunctions. Do not heat cup noodles with the microwave function. The container of cup noodles may melt. Follow the guide for warming if indicated for the food.

CAUTION Do not cool the oven tray suddenly after use. The tray may be damaged or deformed. In addition, splashing water over the tray immediately after heating may generate steam, causing burns.

    Using the product for the first time Position the main unit. ① Remove the cushioning material between the door and the main unit. (Make sure the inside of the oven is empty.) ② Place the main unit on a horizontal surface with sufficient strength and adequate distances around the unit.
  • Page 15 Turn ON the power. ① Insert the power plug into the outlet and then open and close the door. Open the door to turn ON the power. Deodorize (heat an empty oven) with the oven mode. ① Wipe the inside of the oven using a damp cloth or the like with the water thoroughly wrung out.

    Functions and mode names The product features both microwave and regular oven functions. Turn the mode knob to select a desired mode. Microwave This function uses microwaves to warm up food and beverages from their inside and surface. The following modes are available: auto, manual, beverage, defrost (rice), and defrost.

The following three modes are available: “oven with pre-heat”, “oven without pre-heat”, and “oven (fermentation)”.     Manual Use this mode to warm up food and soups from room temperature or refrigerated condition by specifying the wattage and time. Note: This mode is also used for additional warming in other modes. Place food in the middle of the fl at base and close the door. Turn the mode knob to select [ ] (manual mode).

The cooking time can be specified in increments of 10 seconds between 10 seconds and 5 minutes, in increments of 30 seconds between 5 minutes and 10 minutes, and in increments of 1 minute between 10 minutes and 30 minutes.

    Defrost Use this mode to defrost or half-defrost frozen food. The “defrost” mode will defrost food to a degree that the food can be cut with a kitchen knife easily. Use this mode, for example, when the food is to be cooked immediately.
