    ATT2X00 Smart Temperature Transmitter Operation Manual M2X00-REV-G measures the temperature via physical values such as thermocouple, RTD, mV and resistance, and generates a 4-20mA analog output or a HART protocol digital output, transmitting signals to control systems such as DCS or PLC. The instrument has an explosion proof housing (ATT2100 Only), with exceptional accuracy and precision, together providing a reliable system.

Shop Commissioning via HHT Commissioning refers to the process of testing the instrument and validating the configuration thereof. Commissioning includes verifying the proper operation of an ATT2X00 Temperature Transmitter with an HHT supporting HART communication before, and after installation, and also includes the process of understanding the operating procedure thereof.

Commissioning (Shop and/or ON-site) Transmitter shall be operated upon the commissioning of an authorized personnel before and/or after installation. However, it is useful to operate the transmitter at a work bench under the supervision of an authorized personnel prior to installation to learn how to properly operate the transmitter, and to be familiar with each function.

Such minute electric indication is transferred to a 4-20mA analog signal within the configured range. To achieve the best accuracy, the transmitter shall be mounted as close to the process and use short pipes. Ease of access, safety of personnel, and practical field calibration accessibility shall be also considered.

Power Supply Voltage and Load Resistance When configuring the loop, make sure the external load resistance is within the range provided in Fig. 4-5. Internal Terminal voltage shall be 11.9 ~ 45 VDC. Maximum loop current is 24mA, thus, R = (E-11.9) / 0.024 Where, R is the external load resistance, and E is the power supply voltage.

Sensor Trim Sensor Trim function is related to the interpretation of the digital input value converted from the sensor input signal via A/D converter, where the interpretation is adjusted to comply with the actual sensor. Sensor Trim provides three types: ZERO TRIM, FULL TRIM, and ZERO Adj., where ZERO TRIM is valid only within ±10% of the sensor limit value.

    ATT-2100 Smart Temperature Transmitter is designed by each functional unit for easy maintenance. If malfunction is suspected, check for any external cause prior to executing diagnostics. For any failed transmitter or part, send such part to DUON System‘s service center for repair.
