Noise and Vibrations The maximum noise level of the MC-E is less than 70 dB. During its operation the machine does not produce significant vibrations. Installation Once the machine is unpacked, check that there are no damages. As previously mentioned, keep the package in a protected place for possible future reuse or take them to a disposal site.
8.1. Connection to the Mains The connection of the machine to the mains power supply must be protected by suitably sized omnipolar circuit breakers. The connection must be sectionable with a switch that cuts each phase. Appliance under tension. Avoid dangerous behaviour. The electrical connection must be protected by an efficient grounding/earthing.
8.2. Connection to the Water Supply The connection to the water supply network must be carried out accordingly to the following requirements. Do not implement any kind of temporary connection. The connection between the application and the main water circuit must be realized through a shut-off valve (tap). When the machine remains unused, the valve must be closed.

For each group, run a series of rinsing using the dispensing buttons for at least 60 seconds. Check that the pressure indicated in the manometer is in the range 8÷10 bar (into the green segment). Wait until the boiler reaches the proper temperature (pressure on the manometer has to be in the range 0.9÷1.2 bar).

12.1.1. Coffee Making Fill the filter-holder with grinded coffee and press the coffee with the tamper supplied (one dose of coffee in the single filter- holder, two doses in the double filter- holder. Note: If any particle of coffee remains on the edge of the filter- holder, clean it with the cleaning brush supplied.
To avoid spillage or, worse, burns, fill the recipient only partially and avoid boiling the liquid. It is recommended the use of cylindrical or truncated cone-shaped containers. When you are done using the steam wand, clean it: point the end of the wand towards the grid and open the steam knob for few seconds.

Cleaning the Machine Before carrying out any cleaning intervention, make sure that the machine is switched off, that the temperature of overheated parts has decreased and that the power supply isolator is open (or the plug is disconnected). It is forbidden to immerse the machine in water or wet it with water jets.
