Thank you for purchasing this Bianco petrol water pump. This instruction manual describes the installation, usage and maintenance of the water pump and provides important safety information. Keep your manual in a convenient place for quick reference. This manual should be considered as a permanent part of this water pump and should remain with the pump if it is sold.

PRE-STARTING OPERATION IMPORTANT: Install the strainer on the end of the suction hose before operation. The strainer prevents foreign materials from entering the water pump and protects the pump from blocking and component damage.

CAUTION To start this water pump, please check the following before each use: • Con rm that engine oil has been properly added. • Con rm that petrol has been properly added. • Con rm that water has been added to the pump housing. Dry running will damage the mechanical seal very quickly.

Oil Dipstick Upper oil level (H level) Lower oil level (L level) Recommended oil type SAE 10W-30 • 4-stroke engine oil. • Use a high quality detergent oil classi ed “For Service SE” or higher. • Choose a viscosity according to the table in di erent areas and di erent seasons.

Checking fuel level Uncap the fuel tank and check the fuel level while the machine is not in operation. Add petrol if the fuel level is found too low. NOTE: Do not allow the fuel to over ow the fuel tank. The maximum fuel level is shown as below.

Checking and lling the pump with water The pump must be primed by lling with water before it is put into operation.
STARTING THE ENGINE CAUTION: Con rm that fresh engine oil has been properly added. CAUTION: Con rm that petrol has been properly added to the fuel tank. CAUTION: Con rm that water has been properly added in the pump. Turn the fuel valve ON. (Clockwise) Fuel Cock Turn the choke on (push to right) Close the choke lever.

Move the throttle lever from right (low speed) to left (high speed) Keep about 1/3 distance from the right (low speed) Turn the engine switch to the ON position. Pull the starter handle lightly until resistance is felt, and then pull it briskly. CAUTION: Return the starter handle gently to the starter.

Move the choke lever gradually to the OFF position (left) after the engine warms up. Move the throttle lever fully to the left (high speed).
STOPPING THE ENGINE Please follow the steps below to stop the engine: Move the throttle lever to the right side (low speed) Turn the engine switch to the OFF position. NOTE: Turn the engine switch to the OFF position immediately to shut down the engine in an emergency.

MAINTENANCE Maintenance Schedule • *: Change foam lter element only. • (1): Service more frequently when used in dusty areas. • (2): These items should be serviced by an authorized dealer, unless the owner has the proper tools and is mechanically pro cient. NOTE: Maintenance time depends on the frequency of use.

Changing engine oil Warm-up the engine to assure rapid and complete draining of the oil. Remove the oil dipstick and the drain screw, then drain the oil. Reinstall the drain screw and tighten it. NOTE: Be sure to keep the environment clean when disposing used engine oil. We suggest you collect the waste oil in a container to be sent to a waste disposal site or a recycling service centre instead of spilling it in the garbage or on the ground.

Unscrew the wing nuts and remove the air cleaner cover. Remove foam lter. Separate foam elements. Replace the elements if damaged. Replace the foam lter element in accordance with maintenance schedule. Clean the lplastic cover and housing. Reinstall the air cleaner element and the cover. Cleaning foam lter element: Wash the element in hot water with detergent or in a non ammable or high ash point solvent.

Maintaining the spark plug The recommended type of spark plug is E7RTC (TORCH) or equivalent Take care not to touch the mu er due to high temperature on it’s surface when removing or reinstalling the sparkplug. Remove the plug cap. Remove the spark with the wrench supplied.
TROUBLESHOOTING The engine will not start: Is there enough fuel? Is the fuel valve ON? Has the fuel reached the carburettor? To check, remove the fuel cap to inspect and turn the fuel valve on. DANGER: Should there be a spill of fuel, be sure to clean it before checking the spark plug or starting the engine.
STORAGE Let the pump cool down. Wait at least 30 minutes after it stops. Clean the pump and coat with rust-proof grease if necessary. Before storing the pump for over 14 days: Make sure the storage area is free of moisture and dust. Drain the fuel.
