∗ Please make sure that you have all the parts and hardware indicated above before you begin assembly of this item.
∗ This item should be assembled on a soft surface to prevent scratching the finish during assembly.

This item may require periodic tightening.
1． Screw Shade Frame (D) into Neck Section (E). To do this, hold the Shade Frame (D) stationary and
Turn the Neck Section (E) in a clockwise direction until tight. Do not turn the Shade Frame (D) as this may cause
the wire to twist.
2. Pull the wire from Neck Section (E) through Top Tube (F), then screw Top Tube (F) onto
the Neck Section (E) by turning in a clockwise direction until tight.
3. Pull the wire from Top Tube (F) through Middle Tube (G), then screw the Middle Tube (G) into Top Tube (F)
by turning in a clockwise direction until tight.
4. Pull the wire from Middle Tube (G) through Bottom Tube (H), then screw Bottom Tube (H) onto Middle Tube
(G) by turning in a clockwise direction until tight.
5. Pull the wire from Bottom Tube (H) through Base (I), then screw Base (I) onto Bottom Tube (H) by turning in a
clockwise direction until tight.
6. Place Glass Shade (C) into Shade Frame (D), then place the Socket Cup (B) around the Socket Assembly.
Secure the Glass Shade (C) in place onto the socket assembly by tighting the Socket Ring (A)
in a clockwise direction.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature this plug will fit in
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extention cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to
defeat this safety feature.
