Use the

Other functions

EQ button
Press
to toggle the EQ effect of the system; the EQ effect will change
EQ
between: Flat, Rock, Classic, Pop, Jazz.
X-Bass button
Press this button to turn on or off the bass boost function. When turned
off resets EQ to Flat.
Vol+/-buttons
Press these buttons to increase or decrease the volume level. The volume
level can be changed from 0 - 30.
Mute button
Press this button to turn mute on or off. In mute on mode, the sound is
cut off.

Cassette operation

Open the cassette key cover.
Pause button
Press this button to pause cassette playback.
Stop/eject button
Press this button to stop cassette playback and again to eject the
cassette door.
F.Fwd button
Press this button to advance rapidly during cassette playback or stop
mode.
Rew button
Press this button to go backward rapidly during cassette playback or
stop mode.
Play button
Press this button to begin cassette playback.
Record button
Press this button to record from the radio or CD to cassette tape. The
play button will also depress when the record button is pressed.
Cassette recording operation
Record from CD
1 Play a disc while observing the play steps described elsewhere.
2 Insert a blank cassette tape correctly.
3 Press both

PLAY

4 Press
button to cease recording when the CD arrives at the
STOP/EJECT
point where you would like to stop your recording.
5 When the tape reaches the end, the

Record from radio

Protecting recordings
You can protect your recording from accidental erasure by removing the
safety tab.
All pre-recorded cassettes are protected to prevent accidental erasure of
the commercial recording. Protected cassettes will prevent the record
button from being operated. If at any time you attempt to record and find
that this button will not depress, never force the mechanism or it may be
