    Diaphragm Vacuum Pump LDVP-A13 6. Installation • Disconnect the electrical power supply before installing and/or servicing. Failure to do so could result in electrical shock, personal injury, or death. • To avoid the risk of electrocution do not use this product in an area where it could meet water or other liquids.
  • Page 7 Diaphragm Vacuum Pump LDVP-A13 Caution: Do not use petroleum-based compounds, acids, or caustic solvents to clean or lubricate any parts. It will reduce the service life of the pump. Use only water-based solvents for cleaning. 10) Visibly check the diaphragm and retainer plate for excessive wear or corrosion. If replacing the diaphragm, remove countersunk screws from the diaphragm retainer plate and discard the old diaphragm.

    Diaphragm Vacuum Pump LDVP-A13 8. Troubleshooting Always disconnect power before servicing. If the motor fails to start or it slows down under load, turn it off and unplug it. Make sure that the voltage at the power outlet agrees with the motor nameplate. Examine the plug, cord, and switch for deterioration. If the pump gets overheated or is noisy, stop the pump immediately for repair.
