Ensure that the choke control on the air filter cover is in the "RUN" position, then insert the top of the cover to the slots at the top of the air intake, then rotate the bottom of the cover down until it "clicks"...
Post Hole Digger BPX700 Spark Plug If the spark plug is damaged (cracked insulator, broken or eroded electrodes etc), replace it. • Always use spark plugs of the correct "heat range" - see Specifications. The spark plug is used to ignite the air/fuel mixture inside the engine. The spark plug has electrodes on one end and an electrical terminal on the other.
Post Hole Digger BPX700 Fuel Strainer A dirty or blocked fuel strainer will restrict fuel flow, which can reduce performance and be mistaken as fuel system problems. Check the condition of the fuel strainer before adjusting engine idle speed, where applicable. • If the fuel strainer is no longer serviceable, replace it.
Post Hole Digger BPX700 Gearbox The gearbox is used to provide the drive mechanism for the auger. The gearbox requires lubrication. To grease the gearbox: It is recommended to grease the gearbox approximately every 6 months or 100 hours use, possibly more frequently if used often. Users will require a grease gun and grease - normal automotive wheel bearing grease is suitable.
