Together with the blue laser line of the sensor this pattern can be used as visual feedback to determine whether the current distance between the sensor and the workpiece is within the working distance of the sensor, when the sensor is moved with the jog box.

    Operation HP-L-10.10 Warming up the sensor For accurate measurements, a warm-up period of about 6 minutes is required before using the sensor (warm-up time is extended if the sensor is stored at very low temperatures). After this time, the sensor's accuracy is within the limitations for the maximum permissible errors (MPE) of ISO 10360-8:2013.

    Adjustment of the flexible standoff Using the HP-L-10.10 laser scanner system the nominal standoff distance of 90 mm can be adjusted in PC DMIS within the standard field of view (sFOV) of ±30 mm. The new standoff will then automatically be applied for the next execution of a scan.

    Carefully wipe off the windows with a clean, soft, lint-free micro-fibre cloth or lens cleaning cloth. If the windows cannot be cleaned with the cloth, carefully wipe off the windows with a camera lens cleaner or isopropyl alcohol.
