This manual covers the Snapper Model 14221, 5241 &
6241 two stage snow throwers. In addition to the
recommended operating instructions, it includes
routine service and adjustment procedures. Com-

Refer to the Enigne Owner's Manual accompanying
your unit for specific details involving engine opera-
tion and service. Refer to the illustration below for
location of controls and other points of interest.

safety instructions relating to the engine and Snow
Thrower.
SINGLE CONTROL FEATURE: If you continue
holding the TRACTION CLUTCH handle down while
blowing snow, you can release the BLOWER
CLUTCH handle without stopping the blower. This
feature frees your right hand to turn the chute crank
to discharge snow in a new direction. Releasing the
TRACTION CLUTCH handle stops motion and the
blower.
