Luggage compartment

Luggage straps
Use the straps on the floor of the lug-
gage compartment to secure smaller
suitcases.
Movement is reduced, when objects
are placed on the straps.
Lashing eyes located at the front cor-
ners and the rear wall of the luggage
compartment provide you with a conve-
nient means of attaching draw straps to
secure luggage.
Refer also to "Cargo Loading" on
page 118.
Nets
To secure your luggage, you may either
hook nets
> into the lashing eyes on the front cor-
ners and rear wall of the luggage
compartment or
> into the rear wall of the luggage com-
partment and the mounting points
under the rear parcel tray.
You can store smaller articles in the net
on the rear wall of the luggage com-
partment.
