- Page 3 How Pneumatics work When the tool is at rest, air flows over the head valve and fills the reservoir, keeping the cylinder closed.
- Page 4 How Pneumatics work When the trigger is pulled the air over the head valve dumps, allowing the reservoir pressure to open the head and flow into the cylinder. This forces the piston driver assembly downward, driving the fastener. Air below the piston flows into the plenum, where it is temporarily stored.
- Page 5 How Pneumatics work Once the piston reaches the bottom of the cylinder the air over the piston also flows into the plenum.
- Page 6 How Pneumatics work As the pressure in the cylinder attempts to equalize the air from the plenum forces the piston back to the top. At the same time, new air is introduced to close the head valve and prepare for the next shot.
