roduct PecificationS BIOCOMPATIBILITY AND ALLERGEN STATEMENT The materials used in the construction of Altimate Medical products are specified to be as inert and non-allergenic as possible, with the greatest emphasis on medical benefit to the widest range of user. Users which have known sensitivities to certain materials may inquire for specific information on specific components.
SSembly Do not over-tighten hardware attaching any options to the frame. This could cause damage to the frame tubing or permanent damage to the threaded fastener or option. 1. Remove all parts from the shipping box. Remove all packaging and lay parts out. Tools Required: 2-Open End Wrenches 7/8"...

5. Remove the tape from the spacer block and spacers, discard tape. Note: There may be up to 5 spacers depending on the Pan Hanger Drop that was ordered. 6. Remove the plug and spring from the assembly and separate the spacer block, spacer(s) and bolts.

9. Insert the spring into the middle hole of the spacer block. Insert the black plug into the middle hole of the spacer block, making sure the rounded end of the black plug is upright. 10. Place the commode pan track onto the spacer block as shown, lining up the holes and the track opening facing towards the center of the seat.

13. Place one front caster assembly onto frame legs as shown. The caster mounts with the curve outwards towards the rear of the chair. Note: Make note of the notches in the frame legs for Step 15. NOTCH 14. Place the other front caster assembly onto the other side of the frame leg, making sure the caster mounts with the curve outwards towards the rear of the chair.

17. Line up holes on the front caster assembly, foot plate frame and frame legs, insert bolts, start all 4 bolts before tightening each bolt. 18. If the bolted axles were ordered, withe handrim to the outside of the frame, line up the wheel with the wheel mount hole on the frame.

21. For the Quick Release Axles, depress button on the axle end to recess the ball locking pins, and start the bolt through the wheel. Continue depressing the button to insert the bolt into the wheel mount. Repeat for the other wheel. Note: The ball locking pins will secure the axle in place when the button is released.

25. With the holes lined up, making sure the nut is still in place on back tube, insert the bolt from the inside and tighten securely. Repeat step for the other side. 26. If the angle-adjustable and foldable back was ordered, flip back up to the vertical position.

29. Press the side tab in on each side of the latch to lock the latch and back into position. 30. If the flip up armrests were ordered, using an allen wrench, remove the 2 bolts from the clamp assembly. If the Multi-Adjustable Flip Up Armrests were ordered, skip to Step 33.

33. If Multi-Adjustable Flip Up Armrests were ordered, place the armrest onto the front shoulder bolt on the assembly as shown. SHOULDER BOLT 34. Press the plunger tab, lower the arm onto the rear shoulder bolt and depress the plunger tab to lock into position. Repeat steps for the other armrest.

37. Insert Push Handle Stroller Style into the two clamps on the back frame. 38. Insert 4 screws that were set aside in Step 35, start all 4 screws first before tightening and tighten securely. 39. Buckle the straps back together. 40.

41. Insert Push Handle into back frame as shown. Insert bolts and tighten securely. Repeat step for the other side. 42. Remove the screw and locknut located at the end of the anti-tipper tube, (the side without the small wheel) and set aside. 43.

45. If the Swing-Away Gooseneck Flip-Up Foot Plates were ordered. Remove the clamp and ratchet handle from the clamp assembly. 46. Place the clamp on the frame as shown, with hole side towards the front and the slots facing up. Insert ratchet handle into the hole on the outside of the frame and tighten securely.

49. If the side guards were ordered. Insert side guard onto the bracket as shown. Repeat steps for the other side. 50. If the Toggle Wheel Locks were ordered, loosen the screw to rotate the Toggle Wheel Locks into position. 51.

53. Swing the Swing-Away Adjustable Lateral out towards the front of the chair. 54. Place Swing-Away Adjustable Lateral into position. Repeat steps if the other side Swing-Away Adjustable Lateral was ordered. 55. Using allen wrench, loosen screw at pivot points to adjust the position of the lateral pad.
The ActiveAid SC should be ordered and shipped in a configuration suitable to the intended user. Due to the complexity of several settings, any adjustments to the Adjustable Rear Axle Placement (ARAP), Seat Slope, Back Height and Arm Height after final assembly/delivery should only be performed by technically competent persons only such as Dealer/Distributor or Medical Professional.

SEAT SLOPE There are 4 Seat Slope positions, to adjust the Seat Slope, using a allen wrench remove the bolt under the seat from the bracket as shown on each side of the seat.
itting and djuSting STROLLER HANDLE HEIGHT 1. Using an allen wrench, loosen the 2 bolts on each clamp on each side on the back frame. FLIP-UP ARMRESTS 1. To flip up the armrest, pull the armrest towards the front of the unit and flip up. 2.
itting and djuSting ANGLE-ADJUSTABLE AND FOLDABLE BACK ANGLE 1. There are 3 positions for the Angle-Adjustable and Foldable Back angle, 0˚,7˚, and 14˚. 2. Pull both back levers on each side of the back. 3. Position the latch into the one of the 3 locations, making sure the other side is in the same position. Press the side tab in on each side of the latch to lock the latch and back into position.
ANTI-TIPPERS 1. To lower anti-tippers, use a allen wrench and open ended wrench to remove nut and bolt. 2. Position anti-tipper into desired position leaving about a 1/2 clearance from the floor. 3. Insert bolt into hole, place nut onto bolt and tighten securely. SWING-AWAY GOOSENECK FLIP-UP FOOT PLATE HEIGHT To adjust the foot plate height, loosen the ratchet handle and place into the desired position.
Discontinue use of the product if any of the checks fail and contact your Dealer/Distributor for replacement of worn or damaged parts. Use only recommended ActiveAid replacement parts; use of any other parts may void your warranty and cause damage to your device.
