Scope and purpose
The REF_MA5302BTLSPS_400W Reference Board is a single-channel BTL Class D audio power amplifier,
delivering 400 W per channel (4 Ω at 53 V) for audio systems. This reference board showcases how to use the
MERUS™ MA5302M IC with a single power supply and demonstrates the optimal PCB layout for Infineon's
integrated Class D IC.
Intended audience
This document is intended for audio design engineers who are utilizing the REF_MA5302BTLSPS_400W

    MERUS™ 400 W single power supply audio amplifier REF_MA5302BTLSPS_400W Overview Overview The REF_MA5302BTLSPS_400W features a one BTL channel self-oscillating type PWM modulator for the lowest component count, convenient single power supply and highest performance, and robust design. This topology represents an analog version of a second-order sigma-delta modulation, with the Class D switching stage inside the loop.

The AC gain setting (red path in Figure 14) is the same as the normal gain setting, the ratio of RFB and Rin is the AC gain.
