4/5) CPU_FAN/SYS_FAN1/2/3/4/5/6 (Fan Headers) All fan headers on this motherboard are 4-pin. Most fan headers possess a foolproof insertion design. When connecting a fan cable, be sure to connect it in the correct orientation (the black connector wire is the ground wire). The speed control function requires the use of a fan with fan speed control design. For optimum heat dissipation, it is recommended that a system fan be installed inside the chassis.

Follow the steps below to correctly install an M.2 SSD in the M.2 connector. • M2A_CPU: (Do not install an M.2 SSD that came with its own heatsink into the M2A_CPU connector.) & For installing a single-sided M.2 SSD: Step 1: Turn the M.2 EZ-Latch Click clip clockwise and remove the motherboard heatsink. Step 2: Remove the protective film from the pre-installed thermal pad on the M.2 connector.
Page 29
• Installing the M.2 thermal pad (applicable only for M.2 connectors with pre-installed thermal pads): When using a single-sided M.2 SSD, first attach the bundled M.2 thermal pad to the pre-installed thermal pad on the M.2 connector before installing the M.2 SSD. Do not install the bundled M.2 thermal pad when using a double- sided M.2 SSD.
