    Single Input for Opening Only: Connect the Parklio Brain OPEN output to the ➔ device’s input terminal to control the opening of the gate or door. Single Input for Both Opening and Closing: Connect both the Parklio Brain ➔ OPEN and CLOSE outputs to the same input terminal of the device. This will allow the Brain to manage both actions (opening and closing) through a single control input.
  • Page 17 The Parklio Brain inputs are activated by shorting the input to the COM terminal (active low). All inputs are internally pulled up to the supply voltage with a 2 mA pullup current.

    5. Installation This section describes how to install the Parklio ™ Brain. The illustrations provided here are purely for illustrative purposes. Depending on the total size of the installation, the area required for mounting the Parklio Brain and accessories may vary. The installer is in charge of selecting the best solution.

    OPEN and CLOSE commands. ➔ Antenna Port: For connecting the provided BLE antenna. The Parklio Brain uses MSTBVA 2,5/ 5-G-5,08 – 1755765 and MSTBVA 2,5/ 4-G-5,08 – 1755752. STEP 1. Attach the provided 2.4 GHz BLE antenna to the antenna port marked ANT on the Parklio Brain.

Connect the power supply to the Parklio Brain by first attaching the V- terminal to the negative power supply terminal of the control unit, followed by connecting the V+ terminal to the positive power supply terminal.

    STEP 9. Place the plastic cover back. STEP 10. Screw the bottom of the Parklio Gateway so that the plastic cover is fixed. Pole Mount The gateway is mounted to a pole via a single hose clamp. The gateway comes with a clamp holder and four M4 screws for installing a hose clamp carrier to the gateway.

    It is recommended to use a cable with a minimum of Cat5e rating for Ethernet. If the gateway is provided with a SIM card this step is optional. Parklio can embed a SIM card into the Gateway to enable connection to the Parklio server via 4G/3G/2G mobile network.

    Powering On The Parklio Gateway will start and boot up automatically as soon as power is present. It may take a few minutes for the initial bootup of the device. When the device is booted, the Power LED will turn on.

    Hardware Reboot The button on the panel of the Parklio Gateway is dual purpose. To reboot the Gateway press and hold the button until the button LED turns off or in the PMS choose a Gateway that you wish to reboot by clicking on it and go to System Control and click on reboot.
  • Page 43 Enter your PMS email and corresponding password into the provided fields, then proceed by clicking the "Login" button. For the addition of the Parklio Gateway via the Parklio Connect mobile application, the Gateway itself must be set to 'Connection' mode.
