    UNLOADING AND ASSEMBLY STEP 6. INSTALL MOTOR a. Unpack motor with preassembled hoses/lines. Ensure correct motor bundle for your windrower was supplied with the shipment.     UNLOADING AND ASSEMBLY STEP 9. INSTALL FORMING SHIELD a. Remove the header from the windrower (if attached) for ease of installation of the forming shield. Position forming shield under windrower frame. b. Retrieve plate (A) and hardware from forming shield bundle. c.

Without the self-alignment kit, relocate the pin (G) at the frame linkage as required to raise the center-link (E).

    UNLOADING AND ASSEMBLY STEP 11. CONNECT CENTER-LINK The center-link consists of either a hydraulic cylinder that adjusts the header tilt or angle and is controlled with switches at the operator’s station or a mechanical turnbuckle type link. An optional self-alignment kit controls the alignment of the center-link when attaching the link to the header.

    UNLOADING AND ASSEMBLY STEP 12. CONNECT HYDRAULICS Hydraulics connections are different depending on which windrower the header is attached to. Refer to the appropriate section for your windrower. A. M205 Optional Couplers d. If optional quick-disconnect coupler kit is supplied with the windrower, install the kit prior to connecting the header hoses to the windrower.

    PREDELIVERY CHECKS STEP 15. PERFORM PREDELIVERY CHECKS WARNING Stop windrower engine and remove key before making adjustments to machine. A child or even a pet could engage the drive. IMPORTANT To avoid machine damage, check that any shipping dunnage has not fallen down between auger and pans.

    PREDELIVERY CHECKS B. HEADER FLOAT a. Set the float fine adjustment to MID-RANGE with the windrower float adjustment system in the cab. Refer your self-propelled windrower operator’s manual. b. Check float by grasping the front corner of header and lifting. The force to lift should be 95–105 lbf (426–471 N) and should be approximately the same at both ends.
