5. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Tools Required A screw driver will be needed. Locating the Appliance Your new electric fireplace can be installed virtually anywhere in your home. 6. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS WARNING! Do not operate the appliance if it is damaged or has malfunctioned. 6b. REMOTE CONTROL NOTE: This is a thermostatic remote control. The remote should be in the same room as the fireplace and placed on a flat surface. It must be placed away from the fire so the hot air will not blow on it and affect the thermostatic reading. STAND-BY Press to turn on the memorized flame/down light, fuel bed and mood light effects (if mood light strip exists) or turn off all functions at the same time after... - Page 17 FUEL BED Press to enter the fuel bed effect adjustment mode.
