When breaking into the refrigerant circuit to make repairs - or for any other purpose - conventional procedures shall be used. However, for flammable refrigerants it is important that best practice be followed, since flammability is a consideration.

Insulation must also be added to the field piping. The software contains special functions using the heat pump to protect the entire system against freezing. When the temperature of the water flow in the system drops to a certain value, the unit will heat the water, either using the heat pump and/or the electric heating tape.

Remaining air will be removed through the automatic bleed valve during the first operating hours of the system. Topping off the water afterwards might be required.
