This product uses fire-resistant, nontoxic and scentless safe refrigerant (fluorocarbon), if the fluorocarbon, however, leaked and contacted with a fire source will generate toxic gas. In addition, because the specific weight of fluorocarbon is heavier than the air, thus it will lead to oxygen deficit if it's concentrated near the ground.

Warning!! Must use specified refrigerant!! The air-conditioning equipment uses specified refrigerants. When a non-specified refrigerant is sealed in the air-conditioning equipment, it may result in defects, malfunction, failure, etc., which may severely influence the security of the equipment. Especially, the leakage of refrigerants such as dimethyl methane and hydrocarbon (HC), because they are highly inflammable, is prone to triggering major disasters such as fire or explosion, which is very dangerous.

Precautions 1. Cold water temperature and cooling water temperature When exceeding the usage range, it will cause the frequent startup of the protection device, so the machine is prone to malfunction. 2. Cold water flow and cooling water flow When the flow is too small, it is prone to local freezing (on cold water side) or dirt accumulation due to poor flow. On the other hand, when the flow is too large, it is prone to corrosion of heat transfer pipe due to flow velocity, or knocking, noise and crack due to the vibration.
Page 30
Water retention volume The minimum water retention volume is the amount of water necessary for the water chilling unit to continuously operate for 5 minutes without load. This amount of water is the amount required to control the water temperature variation rate returned to the water chilling unit.
Water quality management Under the condition of poor water quality, the copper used in the heat exchanger may be corroded, the inner side of the heat exchanger may be attached with water scales, which will reduce the performance of the heat exchanger, and even cause failure.
Page 32
The target of standard operating pressure Smudginess of heat exchanger will reduce the cooling capacity. When the cleaning area under high- pressure pressure and low-pressure pressure is shown below, please clean the heat exchanger. Discharge of recycling water When discharge the recycling water such as maintenance, the general power supply should be cut off, discharge the recycling water in the water chilling unit in the area shown below, and clean the filter at the same time.
Cautions for use Anti-freezing cautions in winter In order to prevent the recycling water from freezing, heat exchanger from damage and other accidents when the water chilling unit stops operating in winter, the piping insulation or installation of heater shall be conducted, etc. on the spot, prevent the circulating water from freezing, or discharge the circulating water in the water chilling unit according to the chapter "discharge of circulating water' as described in the previous page.

Regular point inspection of the safety device and record of the running situations To ensure safety and make the water chilling unit maintain a good running state, regularly independent point inspection shall be made to record running parameters. Following is the record card of the unit running.
12 Reset method after activation of protective device When the water chilling unit exceeds the use scope or malfunctions, the protection device will be activated to make the water chilling unit stop. To rerun the water chilling unit, it needs to eliminate the cause of starting of the protection device and reset it.

Do not touch the protective device. A protective device and a PCB are installed inside the water chilling unit to Warning prevent accidents. It may occur short circuit when contacting with such devices, or changing its settings, resulting in machine failure, electric shock, fire, and even explosion etc.
Operation before the protective device is activated. (1) Protection control This unit has a protection control function that allows the unit to be redundant, preventing the unit from being stopped due to a sudden alarm. Protection and control may be provided sometimes in accordance with the operating conditions, and sometimes there are suspicious signs to stop running due to an alarm.
5. The water side standard design pressure of the heat exchanger at the unit water side is 1.0MPa. If there is any demand for special high-pressure tank, please contact with Hitachi dealer. 6. When leaving factory, the client-side flanges are not attached, and shall be provided by customers.
When a contract is signed with the service company designated by the company, the professional service personnel of the Hitachi water chilling unit will provide the maintenance service in lieu of the customer, so that the machine is in good working condition at any time. Failures can be found in advance, so they can properly handle within the event of a major failure.
