Making Espresso Using cold portafilter, filters, and cups can lower the extraction temperature, impacting the espresso quality. It is advisable to run a brewing cycle without ground coffee to preheat them before extraction. Remove the portafilter by turning it clockwise. Water Shortage Warning When the water shortage warning is triggered, the Espresso, Cappuccino and Latte buttons simultaneously will flash in green, and will flash on screen. Once the water shortage warning is triggered, please proceed as follows: Press the ON/OFF button and turn off the machine.
