Do not use outdoors. • The use of accessories, which are not recommended by Kogan.com, may result in fire, electric shock or injury. • Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Operation Before First Use If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended to clean it before use by boiling the kettle's maximum capacity of water once and discarding the water twice. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth. The maximum capacity of the kettle is 1.7L. Using Your Kettle Place the kettle on a flat, stable surface. - Page 7 Boil-Dry Protection If the kettle is accidentally operated without water, the boil-dry protection feature will automatically switch off the power. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before refilling it with cold water and re-boiling. Power-On Self-Test • Connect the kettle to an electrical outlet. A beep will confirm power-on, and the digital display will flash for 3 seconds.
