Prior to starting ensure you have two cartons. The first containing the A-Frame items and the second containing the Roller Tubes. 2 People Required It takes 2 people approximately 1 to 2 hours or so to assemble and set up the Auto Pool Reel unit. Watch the Videos It is recommended that you have your phone, tablet or laptop with you to watch the videos during assembly.

Step 3: Attach Tubes to A-Frames Insert one end of the Tube Plug with Tubes over the A-Frame Gear Shafts while holding it stationary. Step 4: Route Cable through A-Frames 4a) Run the Wire Fish tool (or substitute with a measuring tape) through the Right A-Frame Tubes to the left A-Frame (with controls). Control Wire Fish Tool See Video Step 4a Cables 4b) Attach the connector ends of the long wires to the Wire Fish Tool, using tape, from the back of the Left A-Frame and slowly guide the wiring through the assembly as shown below.

4c) Carefully and slowly pull the wiring through the assembly using the Wire Fish tool. It is important to protect the wiring from damage. If resistance is encountered, rotate the wire Fish Tool. Remove the tape attaching the wires to the Wire Fish Tool. From the right side, pull the wires gently until all the slack in the wires is removed, but do not pull tight.
Step 5: Secure Tubes to A-Frames Ensure that the Tube Plug is completely inserted into the Tube with a 1/16 inch gap per side as per Step 3. With a pencil measure 1 inch from the edge of the Tube Plug on the Tube before using the 2 A &...
Step 6: Securing the Center Tubes A & B Adjust the A-Frames by pulling or pushing the A-Frame and A-Frame together or apart A & B gently to achieve the spacing “Pool Cover Assembled Width”. Then move the A-Frames C & D further apart Check to ensure that the Edge Guides remain over the pool.

Step 8: Securing Wires to Wire Bracket The wires on the right-side A-Frame can now be secured to the Wire Bracket From right side A-Frame , pull the wires gently until all the slack in the wires is removed. Then push the wires 2 inch back into the tube.
9a) Plug the Auto Pool Reel into a GFCI electrical outlet, the top LED will light up indicating you have power to the APR. If top LED is not illuminated, please ensure your electrical outlet has power.

(4in–6in). Note: It is recommended that the Auto Pool Reel be secured to your deck once the assembly and installation is complete to prevent winds or being accidently pushed into your Pool. Failing to do so will result in voiding the warranty.
Step 12: Feed the Cover into the Pool Cover Drive System Tractor Feed Strip attached (see Manual #2 - 12a) Place the assembled Pool Cover with Tractor Feed Strip Installation ) onto the pool with the bubble side facing down Pool Cover straps (not supplied) can also be used with the Tractor Feed Strips extending past the pool cover.

Step 13: Attaching Pool Cover to the Tube Assembly With the cover and strips at the same height past the edge guides as set in step 12b, the cover can now be attached. Pool Cover straps (not supplied) can also be used with the Tractor Feed Strips extending past the pool cover.

It should be noted that the pool cover may be 5” on one side and a few inches more on the other side. This is normal and will not affect the operation of the APR. 5 to 6 inches...
If not, trim the Pool Cover parallel with scissors to the pool coping. Ensure the Auto Pool Reel is in the final location with the edge guides over the pool edge (4 – 6 inches). Most Pools are not square and your pool cover and may not line up to the end of the pool edge.
