Reverb footswitch. When this is used
the SCG Channel Select switch (5) is
inactive.
7. VOLUME CONTROL: This control sets
the overall level of the normal chan¬
nel. It must also not be at zero for the
SCG Channel to function.
8. HIGH
CONTROL
(TREBLE):
This
knob affects the upper harmonic range
of the guitar; clockwise (higher) set¬
tings Increase the crispness or "bite" of
the sound.
9. MID CONTROL: The amount of mid¬
range tone is set using this control.
Low settings can "thin out" the sound,
while higher settings can give a "fat¬
ter" sound. This control is especially
useful while using the SCG channel.
10. LOW CONTROL (BASS): The amount
of "bottom" or "warmth" may be in¬
creased or decreased with this knob.
11. REVERB CONTROL: This control al¬
lows the player to alter the apparent
acoustical qualities of a room. The
sound can be adjusted from very "flat"
or "dry" to that of a concert hall.
12. CHORUS SWITCH: The preset stereo
chorus is selected by pushing this
switch to the "In" position.
13. LINE OUT JACKS: These are unbal¬
anced line outputs which may be used
to link the G20CXL/200CXL to addi¬
tional amplifiers or to a tape recorder.
14. HEADPHONES
JACK:
Standard
stereo headphones may be plugged
into this jack. Doing so disconnects the
speakers, allowing private listening. A
mono mix of the stereo signal is heard
in the headphones.
15. POWER LED INDICATOR: When the
amplifier is on this LED is lit.
16. POWER SWITCH: Pressing the right
side of the switch turns the unit on and
the left side turns the unit off.
POWER CORD: Your G20CXL/200CXL
is equipped with a heavy-duty
grounded three-wire power cord. Be
sure this cord is properly plugged into
a safely wired grounded 120 volt, 60
hz AC power outlet before use. (If your
G20CXL7200CXL was purchased out¬
side the United States, refer to the
rear panel for power ratings). For
your safety, never attempt to defeat
the ground connection on this cord.
SPEAKER
JACKS:
(not
shown,
G200CXL only) These two W jacks
provide 10W outputs at a minimum
of 4 ohms.
