Thank you for the purchase of this unique kit.
We hope you will enjoy this model for years to come.
!
The construction starts with the base plate (A) and the base sides (B,C). Glue
the sides on to the base, take note of the "grass" and "frame/stone" marking, you
want it to be visible on the outside of the base.
!
The motor is assembled by laminating the four motor parts (K,L,M) together.
Parts (L) and (M) are on the outside with the two (K) parts in the middle. Use the
alignment rod to help line up the parts, make sure you do not get glue on the rod.
Once you are satisfied with the fit, glue the pieces together, tape or clamp as
needed. Allow the glue to dry.
! The rear support arms (I, qty 2) are glued into the slots in the front of the motor
block, use the alignment rod to help align the holes at the top of the arms. When
satisfied, glue the arms into the slots, tape or clamp as needed. Allow the glue to
dry.
! The pump arm is made up of 4 parts. The main arm (E, qty 2) is laminated
together with the markings on the outside of the arm. Next, add the arm head (J,
qty 2), one on each side of the pump arm, again with the markings showing on
the outside. Trial fit the parts, when ready, glue the parts together, tape or clamp
as needed. Allow the glue to dry.
! Trial fit the motor / support arm assembly (I,K,L,M) to the base, the arms point to
the side with the small holes in it. Once you are satisfied with the fit, glue them in
place, tape or clamp as needed. Allow the glue to dry. Note: The base shown in
the picture is from the simple base model.
! Take three of the washers (D) and glue two of them to the side of the counter
weight arm (N) without markings, at the end, the other washer glues to the
opposite side on the end of the arm. Use the alignment rod to help align the
washers, take note how much the rod (PR2) sticks out past the outside of the
arm. Once you are satisfied with the fit, glue them in place, including the (PR2)
rod, tape or clamp as needed. Allow the glue to dry. Repeat for the other arm,
EXCEPT do not glue the (PR2) rod in place, this will be done after the assembly
is installed on the motor block.
