Styling Tips

  • Gently towel-dry hair to remove excess water.
  • Set dryer on highest setting and speed and circulate the airflow through your hair. Do not concentrate airflow on any one area.
  • When hair is almost completely dry, lower heat and speed setting and begin to style hair as desired.
  • Use the Concentrator Attachment for a more directed airflow. Use the Diffuser Attachment to enhance and define natural curls and waves. To use, attach the Concentrator or Diffuser to the air outlet. To remove, allow dryer and attachment to cool, then gently pull away from dryer.
  • Push the Cool Shot Button to set the style with cool air once you've achieved the desired style.
  • When drying is complete, wait for the appliance to cool before storing. Do not wrap the cord around the dryer. Use the Hanging Ring. This keeps the cord from tangling and wearing prematurely.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LINT FILTER(S)

  • LINT FILTERS DIFFER FROM DRYER TO DRYER. Some dryers have a filter inside the Removable End Cap as well as an internal filter inside the air intake. Others have only an internal lint filter inside the air intake grill.
  • CLEAN THE LINT FILTER DAILY. This will extend the life of your dryer and prevent it from overheating and shutting off.
  • Unplug the appliance from the power source. Remove the End Cap by rotating it counterclockwise until it detaches from the dryer.
  • Remove dust and lint from the internal lint filter using a brush, fingers or a vacuum cleaner.
  • Your dryer may also have a lint filter attached to the Removable End Cap. If it does, clean that filter in the same manner, removing dust and lint from both the inside and outside of the filter.
  • To replace the End Cap, align the End Cap's tabs with the indentations inside the back grill of the hair dryer. Rotate the End Cap clockwise until it locks into place.

Overheating Cut-off
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that will cycle OFF (0) should the heat of the dryer exceed the optimum drying level, due to partially blocked air inlet or outlet openings. In the event that the appliance stops, turn the appliance OFF (0) and allow it to cool down. Once the appliance cools, the thermostat will automatically reset and usage may resume.

Cleaning
Always unplug the appliance from the mains after use and allow it to cool before cleaning. Wipe the outer surface of the dryer with a slightly moist cloth, then wipe dry. This dryer is a precision-designed professional tool, it must breathe to operate at peak efficiency. Always check that the air intake is free from lint, hair and other matter. Do not attempt this when the dryer is operating or connected to the mains supply.

Storage
Always unplug when not in use
Allow the appliance to cool before storing. Always store in a dry location. Do not pull or twist the cord. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance, as this may cause the cord to wear prematurely and break. Regularly check the power cord for wear and damage (particularly where it enters the appliance and the plug).
