Status display
The status display indicates the different operating statuses.
Operating status | Status display |
Normal mode | Display lights up white. |
Battery charge below 20% | Display slowly flashes white. |
Battery empty | Display goes out. |
Charging process | Display slowly flashes white. |
Battery is fully charged | Display lights up white and goes out after approx. 2 minutes. |
Over-/undertemperature protection | Display lights up red and goes out after approx. 10 seconds. |
Power levels
You can set the suction power using the power levels.
Level | Use |
1 | Vacuuming with the power brush switched on or using the handheld device. For routine cleaning tasks. |
2 | Vacuuming at full power and with the power brush switched on. For demanding cleaning tasks on all floor types, particularly on carpets. |

Notes
- The maximum battery runtimes differ depending on the selected power level and type of battery installed.
- Like every Li-ion battery, the batteries wear out over time, meaning that the battery capacity and the runtime decrease. This is a natural aging process and not the result of a material error, manufacturing error or material defect.
- You can delay the natural wear by using the following measures:
- Only charge the appliance in the temperature range between 3°C and 40°C.
- Only store the battery in the temperature range between 0°C and 40°C.
- Do not store the battery for an extended period of time if it is fully charged or fully discharged.

Charging the battery
Note: The cordless vacuum cleaner can only be charged and used with the correct hand-held device inserted.

Note: The power supply unit on the charging cable and the appliance heat up while charging. This is normal and harmless.
Tip: To check that the battery is full, briefly disconnect it from the mains and then reconnect it. The status display then lights up white.

Cleaning and servicing
To keep your appliance working efficientlyCleaning for a long time, it is important to clean and maintain it carefully.
Cleaning the appliance
Requirement: The appliance is switched off and the charging cable has been unplugged.
- Remove the hand-held device and the accessory nozzles.
- Clean the appliance and the accessory using a soft cloth and a commercially available plastic cleaner.

Emptying the dust container and cleaning the filter unit
Requirement: The hand-held device is removed from the vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning the power brush

Note: The brush roller features a cleaning function. When operating the brush roller on carpet, your appliance automatically vacuums the cut threads and hairs after more than 30 seconds.

Troubleshooting
- Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained specialist staff.
- Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance.
The appliance is not working
The battery has not been charged.
- Charge the battery.
→ "Charging the battery"
Appliance is not working and the status display lights up red for 10 seconds.
Over-/under-temperature protection is activated.
- Switch off the appliance and disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Wait until the appliance has reached room temperature.
The dust container cannot be inserted. The filter unit or dust container is not positioned correctly. - Check whether the filter unit and dust container are inserted correctly.

Do not use the appliance:
- for vacuum-cleaning persons or animals.
- for vacuuming up harmful, sharp-edged, hot or burning substances.
- for vacuuming up damp substances or liquids.
- for vacuuming up highly flammable or explosive materials and gases.
- for vacuuming up ash or soot from stoves and central heating systems.
- for vacuuming up toner dust from printers and photocopiers.
- for vacuuming up building rubble.
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when:
This appliance may be used by children aged 8 or over and by people who have reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or inadequate experience and/or knowledge, provided that they are supervised or have been instructed on how to use the appliance safely and have understood the resulting dangers.
Do not let children play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children unless they are being supervised.
- Repairs to the appliance should only be carried out by trained specialist staff.
- Only use genuine spare parts when repairing the appliance.
- Never operate a damaged appliance.
- Never operate an appliance with a cracked or fractured surface.
- Call customer service.
- Only use the appliance in enclosed spaces.
- Never expose the appliance to intense heat or humidity.
- Do not use steam- or high-pressure cleaners to clean the appliance.
- Only connect and operate the power supply unit according to the data on the rating plate.
- Connect the power supply unit to a power supply with alternating current only via a properly installed socket with earthing.
- Do not apply flammable substances or substances containing alcohol to the filter.
- When cleaning the appliance, do not use flammable substances or substances that contain alcohol.
- Keep clothing, hair, fingers and other body parts away from the openings on the appliance and the moving parts.
- Never point the pipe or the nozzles towards eyes, hair, ears or mouths.
- When vacuuming stairs, ensure that there are no persons underneath the appliance.
- Keep packaging material away from children.
- Do not let children play with packaging material.
- Protect the battery against fire, heat and constant sunlight.
- Protect the battery against water and penetrating moisture.
- If fumes are escaping from a damaged battery, supply fresh air. - If there are any problems, seek medical advice from a doctor.
- If liquids are escaping from a damaged battery and they come into contact with the skin, rinse immediately with water.
- If these come into contact with the eyes, seek medical help.
Preventing material damage
- Check and clean any wet objects.
- Replace damaged objects.
- Regularly check the running surfaces of the nozzles for wear.
- Replace worn nozzles.
- Never use the nozzle without the brush roller in place.
- Never stop the appliance with the floor nozzle switched on.
- Never operate the appliance without the filter unit.
